Chaptet 12 // A festival?

                     Chapter 12 // 612 words

I followed Kazuha as he walked into the opposite hallway from the rooms, where the storage closets and Beidou's office was.  Kazuha stopped in front of the door labeled "Captain's office". I stopped behind he looked at me, then backed to the door, and gently knocked on the door 3 times and then waited for a response from the other side of the door.

"Come in."

We heard Beidou's muffled response from the other side of the door and he slowly turned the door knob and pushed the door open. I stood behind him as he opened the door and entered the room, me following behind and walking in front of him as he stepped aside and shut the door behind us.

When we entered the small room, Beidou was at her desk with a pen in hand and papers in front of her. She lifted her head up from her stack of paper work and smiled at us.

"Please, take a seat."

Kazuha pulled out one of the chairs that sat in front of Beidou's desk for me to sit in. I smiled at him and took my seat, scooting the seat up to be a bit closer to her desk as Kazuha took his  seat in the chair beside me.

Beidou rested her elbows on the desk and rested her head on her hands.

"Thank you for joining me for this talk. Its nothing bad, It's just about the voyage. So, I forgot to tell you all this information. But.."

"But?"

I crossed my arms, impatiently waiting for the information.

"We are going to Inazuma."

"What for exactly?.."

"Well, we requested for firework shipments to Liyue."

Beidou started slowly clicking her pen repeatedly. Kazuha just sat there in silence since he already knew some of this information .

"Fireworks?"

"Yes, Fireworks."

Beidou finally but down her pen and leaned back in her chair, folding her arms.

"Sounds exciting, but what are the fire works for exactly??"

I didn't understand why we requested a fire work shipment but it sounded exciting.

Kazuha turned to me and began to explain

"There's going to be a festival, in Liyue. And what's a festival without fireworks? Plus we only have to go there to get them because we ran out."

Beidou slowly nodded her head as Kazuha continued to answer my questions.

"Ohhhhh! Well that sounds like lots of fun! So, how long until we get there!?"

I unfolded my arms and sat up in the chair.

"It's going to be a few more days, calm down."

Kazuha laughed a bit and Beidou smiled.

"Well that's all I wanted to tell you guys. You may leave"

"Thank you, Captain Beidou."

Beidou picked up the pen once more and refocused on pthe stack of paper in front of her. I scooted my seat back and stood up, Kazuha doing the same. I opened the door and left the room, Kauha exiting the room after me.

As we walked down the hallway back to the main deck where we were before we started talking again,

"Fireworks? That sounds so exciting!"

I turned my head to Kazuha and gave him a smile. I was filled with excitement. Thinking of the firework show got me excited, since i never got to experience a fire work show before.

"Indeed, and I may know who we are ordering them from."

"Really!?"

"Mhm, I've seen her and heard about her before, she sells the best fireworks in Inazuma. But I've never had the chance to properly meet her."

"Thats so cool! Do you know her name by chance?"

"I believe so, If I remember correctly, her name is.."
