Chapter 16: Lightning strikes the water.          
                           1,400 words

Still Beidou POV
When I walked up the steps to where I usually stand in the mornings Y/n And Kazuha were no where to be seen. I didn't think much of if and just shrugged it off, they were most likely somewhere at the back of the boat by most of the ropes and other stuff.

By the time I finished my paper work the sun grew dimmer and slowly faded painting the sky with vibrant colors, as the sun slowly fell behind the clouds.to fall beyond the clouds.

As the colors of firey red, orange, and the bright yellow mixed in the sky, casting a swirled reflection of multiple colors across the deep water, and the clouds inched together, Inazuma grew closer.

"Hm..."

The breeze picked up and harshly hit the sails of the ship. The ship sluggishly inched closer to the sounds of lightening bolts striking the water, sending electric shock through the waves.

I squinted my eye and placed my hand right above my eye only to see the murky thunderclouds slowly combined and scattered around the sky. The clouds weren't a threat for now. But later tonight those clouds full of electro shock, would create one dreadful storm later tonight.

Y/n pov:

Kazuha propped himself up against the old wood at the back of the boat, he stood silent as I leaned against the railing rambling about my excitement.

"Are we there yet?"

I turned around and sunk down onto the floor with a impatient groan, pulling my knees up to my chest and resting my hand in my hair.

Kazuha rolled his eyes at me and laughed a bit,

"You are the most impatient person I've ever met."

"Wow you think I'm that bad? You're bluffing there's no way-"

Kazuha raised his eye brows and folded his arms, not saying anything just giving me a look.

"Fine, Yes I am really impatient but this is my first time on a voyage and it's all just really exciting."

"I'm playing with you."

The boy laughed and unfolded his arms as he pushed away from the wall and walked over to me and took a seat.

"Jerk"

I rolled my eyes and elbowed him as he brought one knee up to his chest. Kazuha chuckled and I wrapped my arms around my knees, pulling them closer to my chest.

Kazuha started scratching at the wood at the sudden silence we sat in. Kazuha continued to carve into the wood while i threw my head back against the railing and shut my eyes.

All of a sudden I felt a water droplet hit me on the cheek, i wiped the bead off my face as more slowly fell after it. Kazuha paused and looked up,

"Rain?"

More droplets feel and scattered across the wood and on our clothing.

"It should be fine, seems like it's just sprinkling, nothing major."
