"If I remember correctly her name is.."

The boy stopped and but his hand on his chin and closed his eyes ad he tried his best to remember her name. I stopped infront of him and turned around to face him.

"Oh! Thats right, Her name is Yoimiya."

"Woahh Yoimiya?? That's such a pretty name!"

"Indeed, although I like your name more."

He walked ahead leaving me there, leaving me behind not sure what to say. I rubbed my eyes and quickly paced after him to catch up as we continued small conversations.

-

2 days passed by quickly, leaving 2 more days until the arrival to Inazuma. Time flew by when with Kazuha, because I was never bored. I grew closer to Kazuha, I was more comfortable around him. And the closer we got, the more I felt foolish for slowly growing small feelings for him. I refuse to let him know that, I refuse to give in, we are just friends right? I wanted those feelings to disappear. I didn't want a heartbreak, and I for sure didn't want to look like a idiot for trusting someone and they throw it away.

We spent each day with the same routine but different conversations each time. In the morning, We'd sit somewhere and talk, or sneak a few snacks from the pantry, and between then we annoyed Captain Beidou when she wasn't behind on paperwork, ran around the ship exploring and discovering hiding spoys, or we read books together, and then we would sit by eachother at dinner everyday, and afterwards meet eachother out on the deck late at night before heading to bed, where nobody else was and we were alone and it was quiet.

I just got back to my room, I changed into some comfortable clothes for sleeping and crawled into bed. I pulled the covers over my should and faced the wall before dozing off to sleep.

Kazuha pov

That night I layed in the bed staring at the ceiling with my hair down. My hair was scattered across the pillow under my head, a bit messy from me tossing and turning all night. I couldn't fall asleep. I layed there still staring at the ceiling with very little light in the room, My body was tired but I was wide awake.

I sighed and sat up in the bed, I walked over to the desk, where the folded poem sat, sat, still incomplete. I turned the dim light on and sat at the desk. I unfolded the paper, and stared at it in dissatisfaction before spreading the paper flat across the desk. I rested my head against my palm with my elbow on the desk. I grabbed a pen from the corner of the desk, and began clicking it. I barely had anything done, I didn't understand why I was so stuck. I feared I would run out of time. The trip to Inazuma is about a week there and back. Though the festival is only a few hours.

I began to think and think, crumbling up paper after paper, and tossing in the trash bin by the desk, filling the bin up with crumbled and ripped pieces of fragile and now forgotten paper. I let out a irritated sigh and grabbed a new piece of paper. It seems i had lost track of time because it had been an hour or two since i got up. I let out a slow and calm exhale before picking up the pen. Hesitantly I thought about how I would word the poem for a bit, and then finally the ink touched the paper, slowly gliding across the paper as I made sure my handwriting was perfect.

Not that far into the poem I felt my eye lids get heavier as they slowly began to close, and I felt my head start to fall from my hand. I propped my head back up and opened my eyes, only to immediately close them again and drop my head on to my arm, cushioning it from hitting the hard wood. My arm dropped soon after and stretched across the desk and at-last, I drifted off to sleep.
