Chapter 4 // "oh?"

(Im sorry this is a short chapter)

You open the 2 doors that stood side by side, anxiously standing in the door way as a few heads looked your way. The room was huge with multiple tables but it seemed there were barely any places to sit, At least places where you would be comfortable.

Kazuha started to walk ahead to find his seat until he felt a tug on the bottom of his sleeve. He turned around to see you in place holding his sleeve anxiously not wanting him to leave you alone in the doorway. "Oh?" Kazuha turned around completely, you still holding onto his sleeve. You stood there idly as your face went red, you didn't know what to do you were a complete mess at the moment.

He could tell you were nervous to find your own seat and he laughed slightly.

"It's alright come on, you can sit by me."

He smiled as he gently grabbed your hand, as he held a firm but gentle grip on your wrist leading you over to two empty seats with food already on the table. He sat down still not letting go of your hand as you sat down. The people around you were noisy as they ate, causing you to tense up a bit many loud conversations were overheard across the room. Kazuha released his grip from your wrist as he began to eat his food. You set both hands on your legs as you stared at your food. Eventually you began to eat. It was a semi small portion of food, but it was just enough to fill you up. "The food was great thank you." You quickly excused yourself as you left the table and left the room.

You walked out if the room gently closing the door, as you were about to make your way to your room you decided to stand at the railing for a little bit. You weren't exactly tired yet, you walked out onto the main area leaning against the railing as you rested your head in your palm. The ocean sounded quieter at night. And the breeze seemed calmer but colder, leaving slight goosebumps on your body.

The moonlight hit the water just right leaving a reflection on ocean water. You pondered as it grew silent, Not even the birds made a noise.

You continued to sit there silently as it grew colder outside. The silence broke when you felt the presence of somebody behind you, causing you to tense up slightly at the sudden surprise.

"Mind if i join you?"

You heard a soft and quiet voice from behind you. You could Immediately recognize that soft, quiet, and distinct voice, your face turned slightly red hoping it wasn't who you thought it was due to your embarrassing behavior from this morning. You turned around to meet eyes with the person who was standing behind you who unsurprisingly turned out to be Kazuha.

The boy gave you a soft smile waiting for a response,

"Oh.. uh yeah sure.." you slightly mumbled as your voice shaked anxiously.
