Chapter.18

"Did you hear that?"

'Well, shit!'. My heart started to beat like crazy and I was certain that if I was a normal human, I would be sweating buckets right now. I stuck my back further into the wall and held my breath. If they find out, we'll be fucked up and I didn't want to put Yoongi and Clint in further danger. 

"Hear what?", the man standing on the opposite side of the gate asked in confusion but his voice showed he was alert, and the way his hand moved to his back in search of something proved that he was ready to pounce if a threat appears. 'In this case, me' I could do nothing now other than hold my breath and hope that they won't notice me, so that is exactly what I did even though the pointy concrete kept pricking my beautiful butt and it was darn annoying. 

"It appeared to be like a crunching sound, like when someone steps on the snow", the one in front of me answered. I was at a one-arm distance from him, which was a relief since he wouldn't really see me unless he steps back and turn his head in my direction. 

"I didn't hear anything". 'Yeah, listen to halfwit number one, he's right!'. The guy in front of me moved forward and started to scan the surroundings like a hawk with the other man following him which made the space around me vacant. 'Tsk, they're just making this way easier for me'. I hastily but smoothly removed myself from the concrete wall to grab onto the surface of the metal gate. After letting out a sigh of relief when I successfully merged my body with the metal, I waited for the two dimwits to come back to their original positions. 

"It must have been a squirrel or a bird or something", the man stated before arriving at their original posts in front of the gate which was on either side of me. They couldn't see me since I was still clinging to the gate and that gave me the best opportunity to do what was about to do next. 

I grabbed their shoulders in a flash catching them off-guard, "It's bedtime boys", I whispered in their ear making them slightly shiver. Before they had any chance to react I pounded both their heads together causing them to drop to the floor unconscious. I stepped away from the gate after assuring that there are no more agents in view making myself visible again. 

"Alright, cleared!", I spoke into the earpiece as I tied up the two bastards with a whip that I materialized a second ago. "Okay two down, I still see eight a little further inside"," he replied. I sighed in satisfaction and patted my hands together proud of the perfect bow I made from the whip that was wrapped tightly around two hydra men. I was raised by the one and only Kim Seokjin and we make sure to be always perfect with every detail of everything we did.

I held on to the employee access card that I stole from the knocked-out figures before making my way to the side door beside the gates, probably the staff entrance. I scanned the card on the scanner above the door handle and let out a whispered yay when the door clicked. I made sure to be discreet when I opened the door slowly and peeked out for any guards that were near. Thankfully, luck was on my side this time since no agents were seen in viewpoint but I knew the situation was not going to be the same when I move further inside. 

My eyes lit up by seeing the massive cargo truck parked to the side and I wasted no time before pacing over and holding onto it like before. After I made sure that I was not visible to the eyes, I moved further toward the building while keeping an eye out for potential threats. I stopped at the front of the truck and craned my neck to see a few agents walking around, obviously on the lookout, and this time they were holding on to their weapons. I was certain that the others were scattered around the outskirts of the building scouting the area.
