Loki stood in his spot looking confused and angry, he was always angry.
"You were put in a small test Loki, to see if you were suitable enough to be considered into joining the team on missions but we obviously saw how that went", Jin grumbled glaring at Loki who looked like he was about to explode when he got to know that you all were making a dupe of him.
You chuckled thinking about the tiny, surprise assignment Stony set for you. They wanted you to experiment on him, to see if he was ready to be regarded into being an avenger so you being you, used his own way against him, trickery, which to your relief worked perfectly. Steve and Tony just wanted to see if Loki was still the tricky god of mischief intending for chaos and conflict, and apparently according to the results after now, he indeed still was. How disappointing.
"Well just know you're not the only mischief-maker in the house", Jin said with an amused smirk sending you a wink that you gladly returned with one of your own. Loki took notice of this and turned to look at you. You met his eyes and you shrugged with a smirk which made him both amused and slightly irritated but he liked a new challenge and this time his target was you.
'You amuse me, darling'
Your smirk dropped and your eyes widened while Loki was staring at you with a smug look. The hell? He had his restrainers on then how?. You glared at him, 'Get out of my head Reindeer boy!' you hissed in your mind before doubling your mind protection. Loki looked annoyed at you for managing to kick him out of your mind which was far more entertaining than he thought but you were not a weak magician and if he wanted to penetrate into that mind of yours, he had to work for it which for as long as the stupid bracelet was on would not possible easily.
"I'm sorry Loki but it seems like your going to be under house arrest for a longer time than we expected.", Namjoon declared cutting off the tension that was slowly forming between you and the god. He just sighed before putting his attention on you and Jin, "I was notified that you two were assigned to a mission", he asked professionally, still in. You nodded, "Yes, and speaking of which", you turned to Jin, " Jin, If we don't move our butts now, we're gonna miss our flight and I don't want Tony and Steve up our asses again anytime soon". You stated beckoning Jin to follow. A disappointed Stony was not at all amazing to be around.
Jungkook stopped the two of you before you could do anything, "Wait where are you guys going?", he asked something that was on everybody's mind except you, Jin and Namjoon. Jin shrugged with a small smile, " Korea people, ulineun hangug-e ganda (We are going to Korea)", he said motioning to himself and you before walking off casually with you leaving the rest of your team surprised except for a calm Namjoon and an extremely confused Loki.
"I want to go to", Taehyung muttered with a pout earning an upside-head slap from Namjoon, "Yah!!, did you write the report of your last mission?", he implored making Taehyung look at him with a sheepish smile before bolting off to his room making everyone else chuckle, even Loki seemed to be slightly amused.
Yoongi caught Jungkook looking into space with a frown obviously worried about you, "She's going to be fine Kook, she's much stronger now", he spoke in an attempt to comfort the younger who was obviously worried about you going back to that place you suffered a lot at. "Yeah man and beside Jin Hyung's with her. Do you really think that our Hyung will let something happen to his favorite one amongst us", J-hope said with a smile placing a comforting hand on Jungkook's shoulder.
Jungkook sighed and shrugged with a small smile before speaking, "I know but I'm her brother, It's my duty to be worried no matter what". "We all are Kook but we should just believe in her.", Jimin said with a smile before walking off to find his soulmate whom he knew was sure to be struggling with the report.
Loki listened to the conversation the three men were having and he couldn't help but become curious about what they were speaking about. What had happened to you there for them to be so worried? Loki has never been the one to be nosy or curious about other people and their lives but to him you were different. You were a challenge as well as a mystery to him that he was willing to unravel. Who were you really?
"Okay", Namjoon sighed before turning to Loki who was leaning on the wall in deep thoughts "You're coming with me Loki", he stated gaining the god's attention, "Where are you taking me?", Loki asked wearily 'Was he going back to live in a cell'.
"We need to visit Tony and notify him about your evident mind-reading ability still with those on", he said gesturing to the bracelets before walking away from an utterly baffled and startled Loki whose past concern of rotting in a cell went flying out the window after listening to what the young man had said. How did Namjoon know about that when Loki was clearly sure that he hadn't exposed himself to the small of his power which was free from being blocked and he hadn't seen you talking to the lofty leader either. How in Asgard did this quim find out?
Namjoon stopped and glanced over his shoulders with a smirk, "Don't look so surprised goldy horns, the eight of our minds are connected. We'll know when there are intruders.", he said before continuing to the elevator after gesturing Loki to follow. The said god snapped out of his shock and followed him, the feeling of inquisitiveness filling him on what kind of people the eight of you were since he was yet to see you all in action with the full extent of your powers unleashed. Boy, then was he going to be surprised when he finds out who you all really were and from where.
Since Loki was under mind control during the whole New York fiasco, he couldn't remember anything that happened before he was smashed by the hulk almost into a reindeer pancake. He knew the eight of you were with the avengers and that you all had some type of magic in your possession that was foreign to him since he had witnessed a small amount of to from you more than a couple of times but had never seen all of you in your fully transformed selves, yet.
Just before Loki and Namjoon could step inside the elevator, two voices spoke out loudly. They turned back to put attention to the source and the others too stopped what they were doing and turned to see but they were not expecting to see anything like what appeared in front of them.
Namjoon and Loki's jaws dropped on the floor, J-hope chocked on the water he was drinking, Jimin and Tae who was sitting at the table doing their report were gaping at them like fishes and Jungkook spitted out his banana milk, spraying it on Yoongi who was far too stunned at the two figures to punch Jungkook in the face.
