Chapter.25

"Try it, God, I dare you"

The manner of your whisper sent a shiver down his spine yet he held himself back from shuddering and kept his composure and stepped back, away from you while sporting a glare. "Are you challenging me you mewling quim?", he questioned while you were internally struggling to decide whether to get offended or fangirl with his infamous 'mewling quim' line.

"o, agmaneun ihae!! (Oh, the devil understands!!)", you sassed in Korean. The boys stopped their sulking fest and turned their attention to see a much better show, of their sister having a stare-off with the demon himself and it was amusing to see the god slightly uncomfortable with the look you were giving him. 

"I did not understand a word you just said you idiotic baboon?", he asked with confusion not understanding what you just spewed out of your annoying mouth. You scoffed, "What did you just call me? Do I look like a baboon to you?... and yes you fucking god I was challenging you!!", you yelled through your gritted teeth. 

Jungkook started inching close to you when he saw the runes on your hands starting to take formation indicating that you were now infuriated and by looking at the ex-villain's jaw clench, he assumed that Loki was mad too. 'This is not gonna end well' 

"Watch your immoral tongue Woman!!, I am God for Odin's sake and a low-life like you should not be able to speak to me like that!!!", Loki's voice boomed and he made a step forward. Now the two of you were as close to each other as possible, your noses brushing against each other. You could feel Loki's breath hitting your lips and you would be lying if you said that you weren't feeling flustered, but where were you gonna admit that in front of his never-ending ego? oh hell no! 

"Is it just me feeling the hefty load of sexual tension in here?", Jimin whispered to Taehyung who just looked at him in disbelief, "Really??...I thought I was the only one", he uttered. The two glanced at each other with a slight smirk before looking back at the scene. 

"You think you can get away after oppugning me, woman? Well, then you got another thing coming... Take it off!!", he blurted out causing you to broaden your eyes and the others to gasp. "Ya,Ya, keep it PG-13 will ya. We still have kids in the house", Yoongi commented gesturing to the three youngest ones watching you and Loki intensely. Jimin and Taehyung watched in excitement and anticipation while Jungkook had on a blank face, his fingers itching to rip his little sister away from the Mischief-weirdo. Jin looked like he was about to faint from watching the not-so-innocent view in front of him.

"I said take this contraption off, you challenged me and for that, I will need your assistance on taking this awful piece of contraction off or are you too scared to do it.", he said again glancing at the magic-resistant wrist band he had on. You looked down to avoid Loki looking at your red cheeks and placed your thumb on the scanner of the band which then beeped before unlocking itself from his hand. 

"I never understand you Midgardian, all of your talks and actions never fail to confuse me.", he muttered with a smirk as he rubbed his wrist making you raise your eyebrow at him in confusion. "What are you doing Loki?", you asked wearily still knowing very well what the Mischief maker was planning. You mentally rolled your eyes, 'Did he actually think we were that dumb'

"Oh you stupid, stupid people, why would you do that?", he asked with a menacing smile that made you slightly shudder. You felt someone pull you and turned to see your brother who hooked his finger under your collar pulling you towards him while the others stood around the cocky god who was planning to flee from the tower oblivious to the fact that he was going to fail like always.

"Did you actually trust me in one day to let me off like that, you really are a bunch of disappointments, especially you", he said and pointed at me when he said the last bit making me clench my teeth. "Bitch", you muttered making him chuckle, "You are Darling.", he replied making you want to strangle him and you would have if it wasn't for Hobi's grip on your arm which he placed sensing your anger.

Loki stood in the middle walking around in circles with his hands behind his back while the eight of you stood around him looking at him blankly. Loki gained confusion seeing the eight of you making no moves to stop him from escaping. He was pretty sure by now, you understood his plans, right? or were you all dumber than he thought. 

Oh, if only he knew that these eight people were far from dumb, they are the Dark Warriors after all. 

"Ugh...stop wasting my time and get on with it will you? I and Y/n have places to be", Jin spoke calmly while picking at his nails. Namjoon was looking at Loki with disappointment, he believed that the god could change for the better but obviously, he was wrong. "Go on Loki, I dare you!", you said mocking him again with your previous words, a smirk adorning your face. 

Loki felt immense rage bubbling within him and when he was angry, the god had no control over what he was doing and to who, and right now it seemed like the Midgardian baboons were doing nothing but mocking him and as a god, he certainly wouldn't allow them to get away with it.

Loki glared at you who still had the cocky expression and tried to do something he should have done as soon as his magic was unleashed. Your smile faltered when he smirked, his eyes boring onto yours and suddenly, you felt a slight pain piercing into your head making you slightly wince causing you to know exactly what he was up to. The bastard was trying to get inside your mind, huh like you would let that happen. 

You quickly formed a forcefield around your mind to stop him from entering which was not easy but it wasn't impossible for your either. Loki dropped his smirk and widened his eyes when he felt you had successfully put up a mind-block that is strong enough to defend his magic. 

"Just give up Loki, none of your stupid games are going to work out here.", Hobi spoke calmly to the god who just chuckled at him making the rest of you roll your eyes at him and his stupid egoistic self. The man really was a prick'  

Loki turned his glare at him, "Oh really? Then why aren't you trying to stop me? Do you really think you amateurs can overpower me, a more than 1000-year-old god?". "Yes, we do", Namjoon spoke up in a deadly calm tone that only the eight of you knew was nothing but danger. Namjoon was angry and disappointed and this was his expression of anger that would send a shiver down the rest of the seven's spine as they were the only ones who knew the outcome of his anger and let's just say even Jin was frightened of it. 

Loki grew amused at the confidence that the eight of you were showing. His hands grew green, ready for him to teleport somewhere far away from this garbage of a place, a place where he could plan out his next movements. He opened his eyes and he couldn't believe the sight in front of him.

As soon as Loki opened his eyes, he was met with several colorful glow and he could feel his magic resisting and hiding safe from the strong power source, "Impossible", he muttered before looking around at the seven people who were now shutting down his power like it was a piece of cake. 

Before he could even think, his wrist was pulled and the band was put on. He scowled at you who finished locking the band before you sent him a glare. You went back to your spot and the glow in all your eyes dimmed. 

Jimin and Taehyung started clapping like seals while you stood there, "Wow, that was fun. Let's do it again sometime", Tae spoke resembling an overly excited puppy making you chuckle. You turned your attention back to Loki who was now looking miserable, honestly, you felt a tad bit sad, maybe he really wanted to go home and away from the people who are all set to kill him but he had no choice so the best thing he can do is prove himself worthy to become an avenger. 

"Congratulation Loki, you have successfully failed your first pre-avenger test!!"
