- 𝕏𝕀: Disagreements -

      When you finally reached the base of the mountain, feet tired from two days of walking to the Butterfly Mansion, and then immediately turning around and walking another two days back home, you groaned. The last thing you wanted to do was hike all the way to the top, but you started up the path anyway. Your feet felt heavy and dragged on the dirt path behind you.

      You pushed back a tree branch and let it snap back.

      Whap!

       "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Shinazugawa yelled, making you spin around and face him.

      "What the hell-?! Why are you stalking me?!"

      "Goddamn! That fucking hurt!" He rubbed his nose tentatively. "And I wasn't stalking you! I thought you knew I was there! I wasn't quiet about it!"

      "Sorry- I'm sorry, I'm really tired. I didn't notice you. Why the hell are you even here?" You spun back around and kept walking, Shinazugawa stomping after you.

      "Kanroji sent her cursed crow to get me. She thought you were missing. Are you telling me I walked three days to get here for no god damn reason?!"

      You sniggered. "We should just invent those booths in cities for pockets, so you can talk to people whenever. Crows are inefficient." Your crow stopped flying from above you and swooped down, pecking and biting at you, yelling at you for being rude. "Except for you! You're great! Ack! Please stop! I get it!"

      Shinazugawa cackled at your misfortune. "That's not possible, idiot. Never will be."

      You huffed. "I guess."

      The rest of the hike, which was only about half an hour to an hour, was spent in comfortable silence. You bent back another branch, tempted to let it go again.

      Mitsuri was out on the lawn, bawling her eyes out and clinging to Himejima. She choked on her tears when she saw your blurred figure.

       Iguro looked almost annoyed when he saw you, like he knew he'd be sent home and have to leave.

      "Y/n! Don't ever run away again! Thank you for finding her, Sanemi!" She cried, flinging her arms around him. He pushed her off and grimaced.

      You shot him a look and he rolled his eyes at you. "I was the one who did all the finding."

      Shinazugawa tutted. "As if. You're lucky I found you. You looked like you were about to collapse from exhaustion."

      "If you're not careful, so help me God, I'll track down that very same tree branch and thwap you over the head with it a thousand times over."

       Shinazugawa scoffed. "Where were you anyway?"

       "I literally asked Mitsuri if I could go to Ms. Kocho's place and she said yes, but I'm pretty sure she was too enamoured by her boyfriend to notice."

       Mitsuri looked confused. "Boyfriend? Who?"

      Everyone collectively looked blown away by her obviousness. "Never mind. It doesn't matter. I'm home now and safe. Okay?"

      Mitsuri loosened her grip on you until you wiggled out of her arms. Immediately, you were caught in another hug. Everyone grew silent at the sight.

      "Oh. Tokito." You chuckled, stroking the back of his head. He squeezed you tighter.

      "You scared me." He said plainly. "Who else would I come to to ask questions?"
