a few gazes fell on them as they reentered the room, and jj spotted them immediately before pushing through the crowd to reach them.
"uhhh- what the fuck happened to you two?" he started laughing hysterically, his typically loud jj laugh attracting the attention of more people than necessary.
"well this fucking guy pushed me into the lake for no reason, so now we're gonna go up to our rooms and just go to bed before i literally die of hypothermia or some shit." simon complained, jj just continued to laugh at the pair.
"why is josh wet then?"
"because he decided to jump in after me, again for no reason, obviously too drunk to function properly."
"hey, i'm right here lads!" josh complained, being stuck as the third wheel of the conversation.
"okay okay, i'll let you leave the party but i expect to see you both at breakfast before i leave for the maldives tomorrow." jj boasted, trying to casually slip it into the conversation.
"yes mr bigshot, you don't have to mention where you're going on your honeymoon every two seconds, we already know you're rich. but anyways i'll see you tomorrow, congrats again bro!" simon applauded his friend, still proud of him for getting married.
"yeah, congrats jj! enjoy your night mate!" josh also congratulated him before the two exited the ballroom, a small puddle of the murky water left in their place.
jj just shook his head in disbelief of what he just heard. "these guys man... hey, can we get this cleaned up please?" he yelled, before heading back over to see his wife.

the couple were now meandering through the maze of corridors, up way too many sets of stairs to count, before coming to a stop outside josh's room.
whilst fiddling through his pockets for his keycard, neither of the two boys could stop giggling with excitement, their hands still touching each other in any way possible.
