Your POV

You hear footsteps getting closer.

"Quick! Hold out your arm." Flowey walks/glides (How do you even describe that?) and latches one of his vines onto you.

After you know he won't fall from your arm, you stand up and wait for the person coming, since there wasn't any place to hide.

You nervously wait for the person to arrive.

*Tap tap tap*

Your eyes widen when you see who walked through the door.

Flowey's POV

I see who it was, and remember what happened.

It was Annoying Dog- why did I feel sorrow? I don't even have a soul to begin with...

"What's wrong Flowey?"

"... I just remembered something. Let's continue human..." The human nods and walked towards the door to the Ruins right before they step through, they stop.

Your POV

You stop when you're right in front of the Purple Door, which Flowey told you was the door to the Ruins.

"What is it human?" Flowey seems a tad bit annoyed when you stopped.

"Oh and Flowey, my name is Y/n." You walk through the door to the Ruins as you say it.

You hear Flowey whisper to himself, so quietly that you could barely hear it. "Ok... Y/n."

You entered a light purple and lilac-colored room, with two staircases leading up to yet another door. You couldn't help but think two words: Ooo- Fancy.

??? POV

I watch Them stand in the corridor where you fight Her as I watched helplessly on the sidelines... Her last words before disintegrating into dust, 'Now I know who I was protecting by keeping you here... Not you... but Them.' The swish of a knife blows away Her dust all over the corridor.

I watch them smirk before leaving... Absolutely sickening...

Your POV

You went up the stairs, and through the door to find a small room with a puzzle on the right. It seemed to be already done, so you head on to the next room.

It's another room with a bridge to the right and two signs in front. You head over to check out the signs. The one closest to you says 'Press z to read signs!' and the next one simply said 'Stay on the path'.

You cross the bridge and see a switch with multiple arrows pointing to it- it was already pressed, so you move on and cross the next bridge.

This time, there were two switches, with multiple arrows pointing at the left one. It seemed to already be turned on, so you look forward and see two traps that were already deactivated.

"The switches deactivate the traps, the whole Underground is full of puzzles like these. You should get used to them." Flowey explains it to you, pointing a vine at the traps.

You nod and head on to the next room. There's a dummy that looked- beat up? The stuffing was coming out, and the seams were loose. You look at it with pity.

You suddenly feel your left arm become lighter, so you turn your head to see that Flowey was missing. You're alarmed by the abrupt disappearance, looking around before seeing said talking flower in front of the dummy.

You walk over to Flowey.

"Here, touch this dummy." He tells you.

"But why?" You ask him, confused.

"It enters a battle with it. You need to learn how to dodge and attack." Flowey gently pushes a vine that appeared behind to towards the dummy.

You hesitantly touch the dummy and see your Soul outside a white box, exactly like when you met Flowey. The only difference was that there were four boxes. With orange outlines.

The first one said FIGHT, with a dagger in front of the word. The second button said ACT, with a speaker emoji in front. The third button said ITEM, with a bag in front. The fourth and last one said MERCY, with an X in front of it.

"See those boxes under the white box? FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY, right? If you choose FIGHT,-" Flowey gestures at the FIGHT button- "A scale will appear. Green in the very middle, yellow on each side of the green, and red at the very end of the scale. If you fight, your goal is to hit the middle. If you choose ACT,-" Flowey pokes the ACT button with a vine- "There will be a check button- "Flowey summons another vine to press the option that said check- "where you can check their stats. Stats are Attack/Atk and Defense/Def. Sometimes, there will be a description of the monster after it tells you the stats. If you ACT a certain way to the monster you're fighting, the monster might spare you. If you choose the ITEM button, you can choose an item from your inventory to heal your HP, or HoPe. The last button, the MERCY, you can either SPARE or FLEE. If the monster's name tag is yellow, or pink, then you can SPARE and win G, or gold, which you use to purchase ITEMS." Flowey explains this to you, speaking slowly.

"Got that, Y/n?" Flowey looks pointedly at you, hoping that he wouldn't have to repeat what he just said.

Your gaze, which was at the buttons, switches to look at Flowey instead. "Mhm," You answer him, turning your gaze back to the buttons.

Your eyes land on one specific button, and you reach for the...
