Frisk's POV (It's been a while)
I cut a Woshua into pieces before moving on to Aaron. The monster is winking in fear. I relish the last few moments of its face before decimating the monster and watching it disintegrate into dust. My grin is wiped off when I feel a vague pull on my soul. I chuckle.
"So you came back. How long has it been? 325 resets? 325 genocides in a row? I can't remember. Even this route is getting boring, Frisk..." The controlled soul of the last fallen human (A/n: L i t t l e d o y o u k n o w, they aren't.) tries to pull away from my grasp.
It fails, of course. The once-bright, pulsing red soul is now a dark shade of red and much- much dimmer, no longer full of as much Determination as it was 326 resets ago. Cracks outline the dim human soul, threatening to shatter into pieces. I supply the soul back with some of my own determination to seal the cracks and brighten the soul- I can't just go around with my soul looking like that, after all. I catch that soulless flower look at me, and back in. I smirk.
"This never happened before... It seems like something new will happen. Frisk..." I say, delighted. The soul in my hand pulses weakly in protest as I continue to exhaust the kill counter.
Flowey's POV
I see Frisk talking to... Themself? I couldn't see them. I'll have to tell Smiley Trashbag about this. Frisk caught me anyway- much longer than I was expecting them to notice- I had been following them ever since I left Sans and Papyrus's house. I pop back into the ground to get back to said house. We should also tell Y/n about the resets. It would become a liability in the future, so we should just get it over with right now.
"Smiley Trashbag, I think we should tell Y/n about the resets-" I see Y/n beside me.
"Oh, hey Y/n. So you decided to tell them Sans?" The skeleton nods.
"Well, I think I should tell them. You don't remember the whole thing, your notebook isn't clear enough about what they are. All you remember is a blurry summary. It's not enough." Sans doesn't look happy but nods anyway.
"So basically, a reset is Frisk's own ability that only they can use. Resetting reverts everything back to how it was before until when they got their ability, including everyone else's memories. Though Sans isn't supposed to remember them, since he has no determination." You stare at Sans, who shrugs at you.
"This is Frisk's 326th genocide run in a row, and this timeline won't last long before collapsing and destorying itself before becoming a different timeline entirely. We have to stop them before they demolish this universe." Flowey seems almost desperate, his stem is shaking.
"One more thing to add, you two. When I left the house, I went to watch Frisk. A few minutes ago I caught them mumbling and laughing to themself, like they were talking to another person... What do you two think?" You're confused. Sans is as well.
"Oh well, you should get some sleep, Y/n. It's four in the morning right now. We'll be going on in the morning. You'd be best with some sleep. Good night." Flowey pops back into the ground by who-knows-where.
"welp. good night y/n." Sans waves you out from his bedroom.
Time skip to morning
"Y/n... Y/N!" You jolt awake from Flowey's screeching.
"I'M AWAKE! I'M AWAKE!!" You snap your head up, almost knocking back Flowey in the process.
"Jeez, Y/n. I was only trying to wake you up..." Flowey deadpans.
"Sorry..." You're sarcastic.
"HUMAN! YOU'RE LEAVING ALREADY?" Papyrus looks heartbroken.
Another choose your adventure. (Again, does NOT affect the story :). I don't have enough time to write the different endings :(.)
You reply with a grumpy attitude (If it was anyone but Papyrus- I would say it like this- I know I'm a bad person-)
"Well, duh. How thick is your skull?" You snap at him because you grumpy.
Papyrus looks a bit dishearted.
"WELL... IF YOU SAY SO, HUMAN! AS LONG AS YOU PROMISE TO COME BACK!" You look a bit annoyed.
"Ok, I promise I will come back." You don't think too much of it. You just want to go back to sleep.
"I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HAVE MADE YOU SPAGHETTI FOR YOUR DEPARTURE!" You groan at the mention of the skeleton's very mention of his spaghetti. Perhaps he stuck to the way you taught him? You hope he did.
Papyrus marches upstairs, probably to wake up Sans. Flowey facepalms (A/n: How do you facepalm with no hands?- I wonder).
"SANS!!! WAKE UP AND GET YOUR LAZY-BONES DOWNSTAIRS!!!" You groan and pull the blanket back over your head.
You reply politely (I do this if it's Papyrus- He's my favorite character alright?-)
"Sorry Papyrus, but I have to go. I'll come back though, I promise." Papyrus looks a bit dishearted.
"WELL, IT IS OK Y/N! AS LONG AS YOU COME BACK, IT'S OKAY! NYEH HEH HEH!!!" You grin.
"I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HAVE ALSO MADE YOU SPAGHETTI FOR YOUR DEPARTURE!!" Papyrus beams and marches upstairs, probably to wake up Sans. You hope he didn't go back to making it the way he did before. He might not have... right? -_-"
"SANS!!! GET YOUR LAZY BONES DOWNSTAIRS!!" You jump from the loud noise.
CYOA (Choose you own adventure) ends here :)
Time skip to after you guys eat :)
"HERE YOU GO HUMAN!" Papyrus gives you some spaghetti.
You try a small bite. It's better than you thought it would taste. Looks like he followed your advice.
You concentrate and put it in your inventory. You concentrate again and check it.
* "Spaghetti"
* Heals 56 HP
* It's better than before
"Ok Y/n. It's time to go." You nod, wave to the two brothers, and step out of the house.
A/n: Hey guys! Sorry for the late update- Author-chan was having writers block- Anyway, see ya next week! <3
