Chara's POV

I'm following Frisk again. It's less of a hastle, forcefully being teleported to read out a sign, or when they Check or Act. Frisk still does it from time to time, though not as much as before on the first genocide run. I can't believe I gave my own soul to them. I didn't mind when they did that for the first time- they might have just wanted to try something new instead of just Pacifist or Neutral. I hoped that they wouldn't do it again, but they did. I even advised a different route next Reset, but did they listen? Nooooooooooo.

They did it again. And again... I eventually told Flowey about the times Frisk did Genocide, since even he couldn't remember True Resets or Erases. I couldn't tell him with my own words, so I used my Determination to change one of the puzzles that he usually did in Snowdin.

I also tried to slightly manipulate the little power I had over the system to make Sans at least be aware of the Resets, but he already was. Was this a malfunction in the code? Or was this someone else's doing...? I had the feeling that Frisk was... talking to someone when I wasn't around, so I powered an Echo Flower close by. Then I tripled its magic with my own and went to check on the new human, Y/n.

I found them cooking spaghetti with Papyrus and watched them for a while. I watched them help him with perfecting said spaghetti. I still can't believe how much time had passed. I thought it had been only a few years, but it had been hundreds instead... I was shocked to see what happened to Asriel after he turned to dust. Turned into a soulless flower, and unable to live life and actually die normally.

Ha... It really was my fault... Wasn't it? Well, back to the point. I watched them until I saw them give back the notebook to Sans. Why were there Wingdings at the beginning of each chapter...? I feel like I'm forgetting something... or someone. That someone taught me how to read it, but who...?

Quick A/n: The next two quotes will be the translations from chapter eight.

I'm assuming that person was a skeleton- all skeletons were named after what kind of font they spoke in, but I had never known any skeletons until I saw Papyrus and Sans on Frisk's first route- a Neutral route. They Reset and did True Pacifist right after- Going back to the subject... Why couldn't they say their name?

'HE︎L︎L︎O︎ A︎G︎A︎I︎N︎ S︎A︎N︎S︎.︎ I︎ W︎I︎L︎L︎ S︎T︎A︎R︎T︎ T︎A︎K︎I︎N︎G︎ Y︎O︎U︎R︎ N︎O︎T︎E︎B︎O︎O︎K︎ T︎O︎ T︎H︎E︎ V︎O︎I︎D︎ TO︎ S︎A︎V︎E︎ Y︎O︎U︎R︎ N︎O︎T︎E︎S︎.︎ I︎'︎L︎L︎ S︎E︎E︎ Y︎O︎U︎ N︎E︎X︎T︎ R︎E︎S︎E︎T︎,︎ T︎H︎E︎N︎.︎.︎.︎'

Hm... This person is on our side, I guess... That's okay. Anyway, I go back to the Echo Flower from earlier. I'm assuming I've given Frisk enough time to finish talking, so I tap the Echo Flower I activated earlier. I hear Frisk laugh- no surprise there...
