Sans POV
Papyrus speed-walks in.
"SANS!!! HAVE YOU FOUND A HUMAN YET!??!" Papyrus looks everywhere but the filthy genocider.
"yeah," I answer nonchalantly.
"REALLY!?!? WOWIE" Papy looks thrilled.
"GUESS THAT'S SETTLED!!" Papy turns around and speed-walks away.
"that worked out, huh?" The filthy genocider walks away, and I do nothing but watch.
Your POV
You reached a very long room, with a gray pillar at the end. It was a bit tedious getting to the end, but you manage it.
The next room you enter has piles of leaves scattered around the room. Dust fills the room, so much that you could barely see the floor. A thought suddenly pops into your head, so you turn your head to ask Flowey a question.
"Hey Flowey, are there other monsters here? I thought there would be a lot more here." You tilt your head to see Flowey better.
"There used to be much more monsters here before that happened." Flowey moves a stray petal in the way.
"What's that Flowey? What happened?" You put your arm in front of you and lean against the wall, partially because the floor was covered in dust, and also because you could tell that it would be a long story.
"Not long ago- about an hour ago actually, a human came into the ruins. Their name was Frisk, and Toriel, the caretaker of the Ruins, saved them and took them in. Toriel left Frisk alone for a few minutes, saying that she would be back soon. Frisk got tired of waiting after about three minutes, and found their way back to Toriel's home, killing every. Single. Monster in their path. Frisk eventually reached Home, but they wanted to leave the Ruins, and Toriel tried to stop them..." Flowey hesitates.
"They killed Toriel in the process... and left the Ruins. They're in a town called Snowdin at this moment." Flowey looks away.
Although the situation was very serious at the moment, you couldn't help but chuckle at the pun.
Flowey gives you a wounded look.
"What's so funny?" He stares at you.
"Snowdin- Snowed in!- Who named the town?" You burst out into fits of laughter.
"The king did, although he's not very good at naming things." Flowey waits for you to stop laughing.
"Well, we've rested long enough, time to go." Flowey disappears from your arm and pops up in the ground in front of you.
You get off the wall, and just now notice a doorway right in front of you. (Seriously, how did you not notice it? It was right there-) You decided to head in - to see what was inside.
"What are you doing Y/n?" Flowey looks a bit irritated as he looks at you, waiting at the doorway to the next room.
"One minute, I wanna see what's in this room first." You go through the doorway.
In that room, there's a gray pillar in the middle. A bowl of candy was on its side, candy slipping out from the sides. You went to pick up the bowl and put all the candy inside, then you went back out. You couldn't help but feel a bit guilty, but there was no one here, and you shouldn't let candy go to waste.
"Oh good you're back. I hope we can go now." Flowey pops up in front of you. "Did you get the candy inside?"
"Ya, should I put it back? I didn't want to let the candy go to waste. After all, there's no one to eat it." You put your arm out to let Flowey get back to your hand.
"No, you shouldn't put it back. Food down here is like medicine, but better. If you get hurt and your HP lowers, you can eat this to recover HP." Flowey stretches his neck/(Stem?) and peers over the bowl to see.
"Ok." You head to the next room.
Frisk's POV
I smile as I slash a Chilldrake to bits, grin widening when the Chilldrake disappears and turns to dust. I make sure to step on the dust of the deceased monster before going off to find another monster to turn to dust.
I see a flicker in the light, and I narrow my eyes.
"Ah. Chara. Nice to see you again. It's been a while, wanna talk?" I give the ghost a murderous smile.
Chara comes into full view. They look about 13, but they are actually much older. Being a ghost preserves your appearance and makes you look the same way you died. They have a green sweater with a yellow stripe in the middle, with brown hair reaching their shoulders.
"You shouldn't do genocide, the monsters did nothing to you. Besides, why do you resort to killing the monsters... Reseting just to do genocide again, and again, and again..." Chara turns away from you.
"Well, it's just fun. Killing everyone, their loved ones, hearing their screams of pain..." My eyes glaze over, recounting how many times I killed the monsters, hearing their screams...
"Well, I'm sick of this route. This is the 326th time you've done Genocide (This is one Genocide Route away from Dustale. After the 327th Genocide, Sans goes- well- uhm- He just goes insane- very understandable)... Do Pacifist- Annoying Dog-, even Neutral is better..." Chara fumes, turning back to you with their arms crossed.
"Anyways, I'm done here. I'm going off to somewhere else." Chara starts to fade again.
I don't wait for them to fade away. "What, going back to your mom already? Oh wait, she's dead now. Oops, I forgot that I killed her. So you're coming back to see her dust?" I say it in a mocking voice, my grin going even wider.
Chara ignores me and instead starts to fade even faster.
I wait for them to finish fading away this time, before going off to slaughter some more monsters.
???- Chara's POV
I turned around and started to fade faster, holding back tears. Frisk was right about one thing- I was about to visit my deceased adopted mother. Still am... Even if she's dead.
I arrive at the Ruins before you reach the door, and look at Toriel's dust for a few minutes, silent.
I focus and put Mom's dust in a jar with magic, since I'm a ghost, I can't physically touch things. Then I head out to spread her dust under the tree- where she buried me when I died. Every time I think of the plan, I feel a pang of guilt. It was hundreds of years ago, why do I still feel sorry about it? Well, if I hadn't persuaded Asriel to take my soul after I died from eating the buttercups, he wouldn't have crossed the barrier holding my dead body, and the humans wouldn't have thought that he killed me. Then the humans wouldn't have shot Asriel, and he would still be alive... I reached the tree outside (I am aware that I could have teleported, but it's been a while since I've been here) and evenly spread Toriel- Mom's dust over the leaves (With magic) as I always did. I pause when I hear footsteps.
