entry number 1 (genocide)

what happened? never mind. i have felt this before once, so i decided to write this.

i saw a human today. the human had brown hair and a blue sweater with purple stripes. they had dust on their clothes- monster dust. i had to restrain myself from killing them on the spot. i didn't know what to say to them, but my feet moved without my consent. What happened? when i reached the human- filthy genocider- my mouth moved by itself as well. this felt familiar as well. i watched as the human skipped Papyrus's puzzle, much to papyrus's disappointment. they didn't skip my crossword puzzle though, to his annoyance.

i evacuated all the citizens in snowdin, but papyrus won't leave. he said something along the lines of 'if i make the human spaghetti and believe in them enough, they will change.' welp- all i can hope is that papyrus can defend himself from the genocider and doesn't attempt to spare them immediately. i'll write more later. best i can do is try to convince the human to stop before they reach papyrus.

the genocider killed papyrus. i gave them plenty- plenty of warnings. they did it anyway. i can't stop them the way they are right now. my karma- or karmic retribution won't take its full effect if the genocider hasn't sinned enough.

i know it sounds weird, but my karma isn't based on lv or exp, it's based on how many bad things that person has done. so even if said person has never gained a shred or lv or exp, karma can still take full effect if they sinned enough. i'll just watch the human from a distance, and

the human is in waterfall now. they murdered every monster in that area as well. seems like they aren't going to stop anytime soon... the underground will go empty very, very soon.

this is going too far. alphys and i asked undyne to stop the human while we watched. when she went, it felt like i was doing the same thing over and over and over again, a few seconds after the human died. what was happening? alphys didn't know what i was talking about when i told her, so i'm assuming that it's only me and the human who remembers, since the human seemed to improv after every attempt.. it repeated over and over again until it stopped repeating, but by that time, the human had murdered undyne as well.

alphys went to evacuate all the hotland citizens, but she later told me that muffet had refused to evacuate, so she blocked out the rest of hotland and set up an escape route for muffet to follow.

the genocider murdered metaton. i never liked that scrap of metal, but the human has sinned enough by now, so my karma will take its full effect. it's time for me to go now. i might come back, and i might not. see ya later... maybe...

hmm. who is this? the void? wasn't this the first time? timetravel isn't possible... right?

i read my past entry. resets... huh? didn't i just get this notebook from the basement in one of the drawers? ok.

the human- genocider from entry one is here, and i suddenly teleport back to the door in front of the ruins. the genocider comes out with the same expression i described in my notebook. they looked the same as well, with the same amount of dust on their clothes.

everything goes the same as the last entry, but the repeats stopped. i'll just call them resets.

i'm back at my spot from the past resets. everything goes like usual.

there's a new human. flowey just appeared and told me. they have magic and revived papyrus... maybe this never-ending loop of genocide will finally stop...

So that was a reset? You were now satisfied, so you snuck upstairs. You crack open the door. Sans is sitting up in bed and looks at you. You freeze, and he grins.

"so, what's up, kiddo? sit down." Sans pats the spot to his left. He doesn't look mad, so you sit.

"so, what do you want to know?" Sans holds out his hand for the notebook.

Flowey suddenly pops up beside you.

"So Smiley Trashbag, I think we should tell Y/n about the resets-" Flowey turns his head and sees you.

"Oh, hello Y/n."
