It's been almost three weeks since Evie had gotten her ancestry DNA results back and still no family links. She did find out however, to her pleasant surprise, she had some Danish and Norwegian on her mom's side and Italian and Scottish on her biological father's. Sure Evie was a little upset that she didn't get to have her TV magic moment of finding out who her biological father was, but she wasn't surprised. Determined to move on and never think of him again she focused on the family she did have. She hung out with her grandparents, dad and her brother making sure that they all got equal time with her.

Like tonight for example. Her and her younger brother were about to do the most insanely awesome thing ever. Having already been labeled the best big sister ever Evie felt like tonight had only solidified her title as such.

"Little brother, are you ready to rock?!" Evie yells as she bangs on Sten's bedroom door. She would have gone straight inside, but she had learned her lesson to give him a minute just in case he was... you know.

Two seconds later Sten ripped open the door, shirtless though he was thankfully wearing jeans and pulled her inside. Letting her hand go he went rummaging through his closet for a shirt as he excitedly replied, "I still can't believe you got tickets to Green Day's secret show, E. I am so stoked. Scott is on his way right now."

Scott Mcall was Sten's best friend since they moved back to New York from Boston. Even though they were in the same grade, the two boys might never have met if it wasn't for the fact that Sten couldn't help but make friends with everyone he met. Her baby brother was that person who saw someone and once he decided you were in, you were in.

"Hey, what can I say? When you know people who know people like I do, you get tickets to shows like this!" Her friend Henry was friends with someone who knew someone who knew the band and he'd gotten four tickets to tonight's show. Of course she was taking Henry and her brother which also meant Scott, who had been adopted into the Madsen family because he was Sten's other best friend.

"Now hurry up!" Evie grinned as her phone chirped with an incoming text. Probably Henry letting her know he was close. "I'mma head downstairs to let Scotty in." She says jumping in place with excitement.

Green day was about to release a new album in a few days and they had been playing secret shows all over to debut the new music with an announcement. Of which that they had two more albums coming out by the end of the year! The news had leaked already from fans who couldn't keep it to themselves, but her and Sten were extremely excited for tonight nonetheless. It wasn't often that Evie did things like this with her busy schedule. So to be able to see a band she's loved since she first heard them as a kid and with her best friend and brother. Well, sign her up.

"E, Sten? Where is everyone?" The voice of Scotty floated up the stairs. Peeking over the railing she waved at him when he looked up at the sound of her rapid footsteps on the stairs.

"Just hurrying Sten's ass up. Can you believe that in less than two hours, we are going to have our minds blown by the awesomeness that is Billie Joe Armstrong, Trè Cool and Mike Dirnt!" Evie shouts as she practically flies down the stairs at warp speed.

Giving her his signature crooked grin Scott nods. "Maybe not as excited as you, but definitely. Thanks again for inviting me." He pulled her into a brief hug once she's made it to the bottom. Glancing over her shoulder he asked, "Is Henry meeting us here or at the venue?"

"No problem, Scotty and he's gonna meet us here. He's picking us all up and is gonna drive." Henry Richelieu had been a friend of hers ever since she moved back to New York two years ago. They'd just clicked when they met during Evie's first day at Camden Industries, Inc. A little older than her by a couple of years, he was super sweet and always there for her when she needed an ear to talk to and vice versa.
