"Toshi!" They giggle behind him. His hand stays clamped onto theirs as they skip through the woods.

He simply looks back, beaming at their facial expression.

They couldn't help but admire how the moonlight dances in his sky blue eyes. He looked...

Alive.

Yes, that's the word.

High on adoration and life's offer.

They let their expression soften as the man dragged them along.

"Just a little further, I promise."

"Okay." They giggle.

Such a beautiful sound. He always found himself craving for more.

His muse.

His gorgeous muse.

Toshinori only smiles wider as the thought wandered around his head.

He's lost so much these past few months.

But, to have them at his side... Through his trying times, through his existential crisis....

"You mean the world to me." He turns back to them, pausing to take both of their hands.

"Did you know that?"

"Toshi..."

"No, please Y/N. You've helped me through... So much."

He could feel their hands drift from his and up to his face. Their smooth palms rubbed his cheeks, allowing him to sink into them.

"Why wouldn't I?" A little giggle leaves their lips again.

His cheeks were beginning to ache due to his constant smile.

"Come with me." His hand finds theirs again, continuing their journey to the top.

"Oh..." They gasp.

The night was awake. Stars twinkling gorgeously above their heads. Splashes of blue and violet colored the midnight skies.

"Toshi, it's beautiful."

"I wanted to show this to you for the longest time. It's a spot thats very special to me. So, I figured I'd show a very special spot to a very special person."

Their e/c orbs widen as a thin blush colored their skin.

"I'm in love with you, Y/N. I can't think of a day where I never thought of you or-or dreamed of you right here in this spot with me."

The world slowed. Heart beating in their ears wildly. The sheer anxiety and fear of being rejected was becoming known to the new hero.

"I love you, Y/N. I don't think there'll ever be a time where I don't."

They take a small breath, a goofy smile curls their pink lips. Then, they broke into a fit of laughter.

Confused, he scoffs alongside them.

"I never thought you'd recuperate my feelings!" They gasp, giddiness striking each and every nerve in their very being.

"Really! That's wonderful!" He latched onto them, picking them up and spinning.

Their howls of laughter mixed with the others as they spun under the moon. As their hearts pound as one, the onslaught of overwhelming amounts of love ran them over.

Toshinori finally slows, still hoisting their body off the ground. He takes a moment to soak in your youthful state.

No worry.

No dread for tomorrow.

He took a mental picture of it. Their smaller hands find his face again, pulling him in for a kiss.

He hums, slipping into their spell.

A spell he wished to the heavens will never break.
