Hey guys, I'm making a new side series of the headcanon chapters, basically in these chapters are characters and ideas that don't apply to my Mandorian Chronicles, i.e, the twins, MSPD, and magic to name a few.  Anything written in the sidecanon chapters is not canon and will only be used in oneshots and roleplays, so don't try to fit any of these into the books because they are not canon to them.

Before I start I just want to thank 0luv0love0 for letting me integrate Zalia's backstory with Iremacht, it really helped me develop her personality and temperament and it would have been much harder without the extra boost, and even though I changed most of it from what we discussed it still was a big help, so thank you, Luv Dove, and if you ever need help with A Dose of Red you are more than welcome to use her or Poldara and the upcoming Johann.  Now with that out of the way, here's Zalia's backstory

For Zalia, she had a pretty good start in life, she had loving parents, a supportive brother, and a safe extended family she could call her own.  As she grew older she was still quite shielded from the horrible world her family had come to know, MA especially wanted his children to stay safe and innocent for as long as possible as he still held some guilt about what happened to Poldara, not even letting them near his base or weapons until they were teenagers.  Zalia loved her dad's military and was always frustrated that he would never talk about it or teach them anything, he didn't even want her and Johann to become militants, which was his first mistake.

Zalia soon became rebellious and disobedient, teaching herself to fight and sneaking into her father's base to practice with his weapons.  When she learned about a weapon from her grandfather Mandoria's kingdom called a Tamordo, she instantly became fascinated with it and even got her tinker brother to make her one, after several bribes and threats of course.

MA and Belarus never really found out about their daughter's secret activities, they always thought she was simply being the stereotypical smoke and vandalize teenager, so in order to try and fix her behavior, they sent her to stay with Russia so that she could get a little change in scenery, that was their second big mistake.

Russia wasn't exactly the best babysitter, he was always focused on his politics that he barely paid attention to her, which she liked because that meant she could practice in peace and not have to worry about being caught.  While she was there she heard a lot about Iremacht as Russia was one of his main targets, she was fascinated by his work and he became an idol to her, in the wrong way.  When she came back from Russia her parents knew that it was the worst mistake they could have made, she immediately moved out and cut herself out of the picture, no longer interacting with her family and making sure she was nothing but a ghost in the wind, disappearing from the face of the earth.

While everyone wondered where she went, she traveled to Japan, the culture being intriguing to her and Japan herself being an internet friend she could trust with her mission.  Even though Japan didn't really agree with Zalia's goals she still supported her, even hooking her up with a few martial arts trainers to help her out.  For the next several years of her life, she worked to make a name for herself, training night and day to master all the martial arts she practiced and recruiting many of her fellow trainees to join her new gang she had dubbed The Smoke Wolves after many of her teachers describing her as "a lone wolf who strives to make a pack of her own."

Zalia eventually came back to Europe, making her home base in the abandoned ruins of one of the villages that was in the kingdom of Mandoria.  From there she worked as an assassin for hire, charging countries to infiltrate their enemies and either kill important figures or steal secret intelligence, her biggest "customers" being China and North Korea.  When she became well-known enough to get Iremacht's attention they became partners in crime, often working together to infiltrate and steal.

Zalia never truly reconnected with her family, her cousin Poldara especially being a nuisance to her with his agents sabotaging her work, deep down she still loves everyone and would come to aid them if they were ever put in danger, but at the end of the day, sentimentality could get you killed when you're a crime boss.
