Before Mandara and Mandara Army even existed, there was the kingdom of Mandoria, which was founded in 1537 by the countryhuman Mandoria.  Although no one knows the origin of Mandoria, it is believed that he came from somewhere in the British isles since his dominant language was English.  UK has not confirmed nor denied this accusation when questioned, only stating that he "had a lot of countries and kingdoms come from his territory, and it was hard to keep track of them all".

The kingdom of Mandoria was about the size of modern-day Hungary, with Mandoria himself ruling over it as king, which was uncommon for countries/kingdoms to do.  Another abnormal trait about Mandoria was his size, normally country's size reflect the landmass of their territories which is why Russia is the tallest of the modern day countries, but Mandoria's height did not reflect his landmass.  Standing at 7'1", and a wingspan of 14'2", he was one of the tallest countries of his time, and had the largest wings.

Mandoria was a well respected kingdom, especially within the winged community, but there was one country who despised him with a passion, everyone's favorite winged German with anger-management issues, the Kingdom of Prussia.  At first, Mandoria paid little attention to the young upstart, since he was over a century older than him and was more powerful, but as Prussia grew into one of the most powerful empires in Europe, Mandoria was soon fearing for his kingdom's safety.  It wasn't only his kingdom he was fearing for, he also had two sons to worry about, Derogan and Mandara, who were still only children at that time.

Lucky for Mandoria, Prussia was busy fighting with other empires that he didn't do any thing to the kingdom, that is, until Mandara and Derogan became full-grown adults.  When the brothers had finally come of age, Mandoria decided to step down from the throne and give the kingdom to his sons, but Prussia over heard this and he decided to party crash the kingdom before that could happen and challenged Mandoria to a aerial duel, winner gets his kingdom.

Mandoria had no choice to accept the challenge on the condition that Prussia not hurt his sons should he win, which Prussia also accepted.  The battle was quite long and ended with Prussia coming out victorious, having delivered a fatal blow to Mandoria by impaling him.  Once Prussia was confident he won, he banished Mandara and Derogan from the kingdom and promptly inserted himself as king.  With no home and no one to turn to, the brothers wandered throughout Europe until they came across France, who allowed them to stay in her country.

After almost two centuries, Prussia was finally defeated and stripped of power, and all of his conquered land was returned to their rightful owners, including Mandara and Derogan.  Now that they were the sole controllers of their kingdom, the first thing they did was set up a democracy, something they learned about while in France.  A few years had passed and the kingdom of Mandoria had officially became the country of Mandara, ran by Mandara and Derogan, by now renamed Mandara Army.  Although Prussia had tried to completely erase Mandoria from the country's history, Mandara and MA made sure to immortalize their father in any way possible, even adding his shield crest into the official country flag.

Even though Mandoria is no longer alive, he is still remembered for everything he was, a noble and benevolent king, a warrior who died for his people, and the greatest father Mandara and MA could have ever asked for.
