(Finally picked back up, read day one first if you want things to make sense.  Also again, K = KoffeeNPens; M = Mittens365.  enjoy)

K: UPA found himself reaching up, running his fingers along the hand-stitched golden trident, smiling to himself.

"Well the symbol is of a Trident, we call it the Tryzub.  It's an old symbol, dating back many centuries actually, and holds a lot of history.  To keep things short and simple it's the symbol of the Ukrainian coat of arms.  It tends to have many different meanings depending on who you ask, some will say it represents the Holy Trinity, others will say it's a stylized falcon, however for me personally it's was used as an anti-communist symbol."

M: Mandara listened to him with fascination, "That's really cool, it kind of makes me a little jealous since mine doesn't really mean too much"  he said, reaching up and shifting his own shield eyepatch.

K: UPA rest his elbow on the table, crossing his leg over his prosthetic as he rested his chin in the palm of his hand. "Well, what does it mean?" He asked out of curiosity

M: Mandara shrugged, "I don't remember, the original symbolism was lost years ago." He then looked sorrowful, "personally it's just a reminder of what I lost, but I'd rather have it on than not."

K: UPA sighed, "I know what that's like." He said with a small nod, "though sometimes I wish I could forget."

M: "Me too," Mandara muttered, "but it's hard to forget the emotional scars when your physical ones remind you every day."  He started fiddling with the bandages on his arm as if to prove a point.

Not wanting to continue the subject, he switched to something else, "So ... are you an active militant entity or retired?"

K: "Ya, it is." He agreed with a small nod, looking down at his lap for a moment as he sighed.  He looked up when he heard the question, grateful for the change in topic. "Retired, for the most part, recent events have caused me to become a little active but not much. You?"

M: Mandara looked at him confused when he said you, he wasn't sure what UPA meant by that, but he assumed he was talking about his brother,

"What, you mean my brother?" he pointed to Mandara Army, who was having an arm-wrestling contest with Russia, "he's active, I mean we're not at war right now, but he still helps around with political affairs."

K: UPA nodded in confirmation when he asked that.  He followed where the Mandarian was pointing, narrowing his eyes when he saw the Russian, his wings slightly bristling before he looked back at Mandara.

"Ah, that's nice, my brother's better with political stuff so I just help him with paperwork and that's about it."

M: "Huh," Mandara said, he wasn't really paying attention to what UPA was saying 'cause he was more intrigued at his reaction to seeing Russia, the agitated vibrations in his feathers deepened the curiosity.

"You don't like Russia?" he asked

K: UPA sighed, crossing his arms as he leaned back in the chair. "Ukraine and Russia never had the best relationship, two years ago some events took place and that further damaged their relationship, since then we've been at war.  So to answer your question, no, I don't like him." He had a bitter tone as he spoke.

M: Mandara was quite stunned, he definitely didn't expect that much resentment between the two countries.  He felt really awkward now with the negativity charging the air, to the point that his own feathers started to bristle from the agitation.  When he noticed this he immediately started to smooth them down, "Stupid wings, no need to freak out." he muttered under his breath.

M: Suddenly there was a bout of screaming coming from Russia's and MA's table.  Mandara and UPA jerked their attention to them and saw that a bunch of countries were cheering over MA winning, and Rus wasn't happy about it.  Mandara laughed and called out,

"Hey Thunder, careful you don't break Russia's arm, I don't think he could handle another round!"  Everyone that was watching started laughing, which just made Russia's eyes glow brighter with frustration.

Mandara laughed to himself some more, "heh, I bet if we get him riled up more, he's gonna try to challenge Thunder to an aerial duel." he said to UPA, then snickered at the thought.
