Wow, so turns out that the chapters that take the longest to write are the first and last ones, who knew?
I can't believe the rewrite is finally done!
It feels so good to have finally accomplished this. I've always loved my first book, and being able to rewrite it in a way that I can be proud of today makes me feel more content than I could have ever imagined.
I was, of course, a little disappointed when I didn't make the shortlist for the Wattys, but I was still glad that I tried. The deadline for that pushed me to do in three months what could have taken me over a year to accomplish.
If you took the time to read this book, thank you so much! You have no idea how much it means to me that there are people out there who think my work is worth paying attention to.
If you liked this book, make sure to keep a look out for the sequel, which will be called Knowing You. And also, watch for a rewrite of this book in Hunter's POV, which I'm really excited about.
