Chapter 10

Ragini was waiting for his message which Harsha didn't keep.

"Should I call and ask? No, then he will think that I am too desperate to marry him. It's already too late to call now. I think it's better to call tomorrow morning." She mumbled to herself. And lay on the bed and was keep thinking about her decision about marrying him and also the conversation between his mother and her. Soon she fell asleep.

The next day also she waited for his reply but he didn't give any. So she decided to call him.

"Hello!" Harsha responded panting due to his jogging.

"Hello! It's me Ragini." Ragini wanted to burst but she can't.

"Hey, Ragini. Why did call this early? You have something important to ask?" He asked casually and went near the dining table where Deepak and Arjun sat and put the call on speaker.

"Yes I want to ask, did your family decide about the marriage." She asked without dragging the topic. Deepak and Arjun got excited hearing Ragini's voice.

"Yeah. And mom also said to inform you." He said sipping water from the bottle. She scoffed to herself.

"See I know what I said is true," Ragini said.

"What truth?" Harsha said thinking about what she said. Deepak and Arjun also looked at each other.

"That I doubt that you are a businessman. Your mother said to inform me and you forget it again?" Harsha coughs listening to her while Deepak and Arjun try to hold their laugh.

He takes his mobile and off the speaker. And looked at Deepak and Arjun who were still holding laughs. Meanwhile, his family came and sat on their chairs for breakfast.

"I...I didn't forget anything. I just don't want to disturb you yesterday night that's why I didn't call you." He gave his justification and took his seat and saw Arjun telling what happened just now on the call to everyone.

"Oh really! There is a thing called a message. You could have messaged me and I would have seen it at night or in the morning. Mr. Rajvansh? I just think you need to do meditation to control your memory issue." Ragini said in frustration but suddenly she saw herself in the mirror.

She looked at the Ragini in the mirror, who is acting very weirdly even since she meet Harsha and Deepak, which were not her. She was never like this in her past. She was never this desperate to know the opinion of some other family except for Laksh. But now she is very desperate to know the opinion of Harsha's family.

"Hello? Ragini are you there?" Harsha's voice broke her thoughts.

"What? Sorry, I just dozed off. Can you repeat?" Ragini said apologetically. Harsha smirked.

"See madam, now you dozed off and you are doubting my ability to be a businessman." Hearing his comment Ragini smiled.

"Hello mister, I just dozed off not like you forgetting things like you that too important thing." Ragini retorted back which made Harsha smile in amusement.

He didn't see her talking this freely in their before conversations. His family also saw him smiling which made them happy. The elders looked at each other and smiled while Deepak and Arjun looked at each other with their emotionless faces and bust out in a fit of a laugh. The elders shake their head looking at those two and continues to have their lunch.

"Oh please..." Ragini didn't let him complete his sentence.

"Let it be, for now, we can fight later about your memory. First, tell me what did your family decide?" Ragini asked but she didn't know how desperate she was to know.

"Ohhh, you are eager to know about their decision. Are you that desperate to marry me?" Harsha smirked and his family is shocked to see his behavior. It's been nearly 2 years since he changed his behavior and took the responsibility to be a father.

"So, did I make the correct choice to maker her our daughter-in-law?" Mrs. Ravi Rajvansh asked with a big smile on her face.

"Yes, Ravi. I think it's your best choice to make her our daughter-in-law who made our son's to smile you ever made." Mrs. Janvi Varma said looking at Deepak and Harsha.

"Yes bhabi I think it's your best choice ever made. What do you say Vishnu?" Mrs. Raghu Varma asked taking a bite from his breakfast.

"Yes, after all, she is my wife." Mr. Vishnu Rajvansh said lifting his head in pride and making others laugh.

On the other hand, Harsha is still teasing Ragini over their marriage.

"Look Harsha I'll hang up if you are not saying anything," Ragini spoke in irritation but Harsha didn't speak anything.

Then soon she also realized that for the first time she called him by his name. Harsha and Ragini stayed silent for a while. They both are feeling awkward but in a good way though. Harsha also doesn't want to make Ragini uncomfortable so he decided to break the silence.

"My family said Yes to our marriage and also they are ok with your request." Harsha tried to make her feel normal.

"Oh, okay then bye." Saying that she hung up without waiting for his reply.

"She hung up on me again. What does she think about me?" Harsha said looking at his mobile but his mistake is he said it out too loud for his family to hear.

"She thinks that you are having memory issues," Arjun said giving hi-fi to Deepak. Both turned to see Harsha while smiling and he smiled at them and got up to run but Arjun lifted Deepak in his arms and ran to their room and Harsha also chased after them.

They both went to Arjun's room and locked the door before Harsha could enter.

"Come out you both coward fellows. Come out I will check your memory power." Harsha banged on the door and shouted.

"Oh really? You are saying like w don't know what you will do if we come out." Arjun retorted and Deepak gave him a thumbs up.

"You idiots come out," Harsha shouted again.

"Harsha doesn't act like a kid, ok?" Mrs. Ravi Rajvansh said coming upstairs.

"They are also acting like kid's mom," Harsha complained.

"They are kids, Harsha. Now I am also doubting your memory power." Mrs. Ravi Rajvansh said shaking her head. Arjun and Deepak heard this ad and laughed.

"Mom!" Harsha stomped his foot like a kid and went to his room to get ready for the office.

Seeing his son Mrs. Ravi Rajvansh felt that her son his behaving like he use to behave before the accident happened and it feels so good to see his son like this.

"I think Ragini and Harsha are destined for each other. God these kids suffered a lot please give them all the happiness they deserve." She closed her eyes and prayed to god in her heart.
