Being in love again

Chapter 7

Harsha went back inside to see Ragini serving a customer. He went near her and blocks her way.

"Ragini we need to talk," Harsha said.

"Mr. Rajvansh I am at my workplace. You need to wait till my work time completes." Ragini says and goes near other customers.

Harsha was in a huge shock to see her attitude toward him. Poor Harsha no one dares to offend him after knowing his power but Ragini was going on giving shocks to him which is harmful to his pride. He canceled all his appointments and decided to stay there till she complete her work. He watched her the entire time and she could feel his eye on her.

"What do you want to talk about?" Ragini asks seeing that he was waiting till her work was complete.

"You are going to your hotel, right? Come I'll drop you." Harsha offers. Ragini wanted to reject him but remembers that he want to talk to her she follows him to his car but will not get into it when he opens the door for her.

"Get in," Harsha says gesturing with his hand.

"I prefer walking to my hotel if you want you can ask me while walking with me." Saying this she walks away leaving Harsha no choice but to follow her.

"Isn't it too far to walk?" Harsha asks her.

"No, it's not, and also it's good to walk." She said in a normal tone. Harsha shakes his head with a small smile.

"So? What do you want to talk about?" She reminds him that he wants to talk to her.

"Yeah. You were rejecting my proposal till before night and the next day you accepted my proposal why?" Hearing this Ragini sighs.

"I thought you had my information, right? Then why are you asking?" Ragini questions him instead of giving him the answer.

"I only have basic information, not all details," Harsha confessed and looked a little guilty. Ragini smiles at his reply.

"You see I had a father but he was never there for me and my mother who left me because she was hurt and I never blamed her. My grandma took care of me like a mother but took the decisions of my life which are my right to take. Deepak is just like me. The only difference is my parents were alive and were not there with me and left me alone. His parents are not there with him and left him alone." Harsha stopped walking sensing this Ragini turns towards him.

"Are you pitying him?" Harsha wants to confirm his doubt.

"No, I don't pity him. I am proud of him because Deepak is very strong. He remembers his parent's faces, he remembers the accident and he is strong after this, but he is just a child. My grandma made me dependent on her to take my life decisions and Deepak will become like me if he doesn't start speaking out his thoughts. And I will never allow my son to become like that." Saying that Ragini started walking again. Harsha smiles hearing her calling Deepak her son and starts walking with her.

"If you don't mind may I know the reason you are here leaving your family?" Now it's Ragini's turn to stop walking.

"Let's leave it for the next time, we reached my hotel. Good night." Without giving a chance for him to talk Ragini left for her hotel.

"Good night." Harsha whispers and leaves for his house.

Harsha freshen up and was going to bed. But his door opened and there comes his entire family standing in front of him and staring at him well more like glaring at him.

"What?" Not knowing what he did he asked them.

"What? Are you going to sleep now?" His mother, Ravi Rajvansh asked.

"Well, I guess everyone will sleep after having dinner, right?"  Harsha asked thinking was there any family meeting that he forgot.

"Harsha how could you forget to tell us that Deepak called that women who we don't know as Mom?" Janki Varma asked holding Deepak in her arms.

"Oh, I was tired and forgot to tell you guys." Said as if that was not his mistake to forget.

"So what now?" Raghu Varma asked.

"What now?" Harsha asked in confusion.

"Bro, you forgot?" Arjun asked to confirm.

"Forgot what?" Harsha asked.

"How could I give birth to an Idiot like you? Didn't you say that that girl who kept the condition to marry you if Deepak calls her Mom then she will marry you right after that? Then what happened now? When will you get married? And before that, we all need to meet her too." Mrs. Ravi Rajvansh ranted, Mr. Vishnu Rajunash held her hand to stop her but everyone agreed to her.

"Oh shit, I also forgot about it. What to do now?" Harsha stands up from his bed immediately after remembering.

"What are we saying till now?" Arjun said sitting on his bed along with Deepak. All the members also settled in his room.

"When will we meet her?" Ravi Rajvansh asked him.

"Don't know mom, She didn't say anything about meeting the family," Harsha said and looked at Deepak.

Both stared at each other and turned towards Arjun, who was thinking about what to do next felt their stare and turned to find him gawking at him.

"What?" Arjun asked all the family turned to see Deepak and Harsha staring at him.

"He has her number," Harsha said smirking at Arjun and Deepak nodded his head. Both Mrs. Rajvansh and Mrs. Varma turned towards Arjun and narrowed their eyes.

"Yeah mom, aunt I have her number, you both can call her and talk to her." Arjun understood what both father and son are doing and confessed to his mom and aunt.

"If you already know her number why didn't you tell her till now?" Janki Varma asked twisting Arjun's ear.

"Mom I forgot. Sorry." Arjun said trying to free his ear from her hand.

"If you have given us her number we would have spoken to her before only. Ravi, I think we gave birth to idiots." Janki Verma said glaring at Arjun and Harsha. Harsha kept a blank face and Arjun pouted.

"Anyways tell me what's her name?" Ravi Rajvansh asked after cooling down.

"Ragini." Arjun and Harsha muttered. But they couldn't hear them. Because someone also spoke with them.

"Ma." Hearing the little voice all the family members turned towards Deepak only to see him smiling. Elders went near him.

"Baby, you spoke?" Ravi Rajvansh asked. Deepak nodded, and Harsha and Arjun smiled.

"Baby call me grandpa!" Deepak Opened his mouth to call Vishnu Rajvansh but couldn't.

"Dad I think he needs more time to get fully recovered," Harsha said ruffling Deepak's hair who was looking sad.

"Yes, Deepak baby take your time." Mrs. Janki Varma said and everyone agrees with her.

"So what about my Deepak's mom?" Mrs. Ravi asked.

"I'll call her tomorrow morning and discuss the wedding," Harsha said looking at Deepak who was desperately looking at him. After hearing all agreed and left to their respective rooms and Harsha asked Arjun to send him Ragini's number after going to his room.

Laying on his bed he stared at the ceiling and closed his eyes with a deep sigh.

"Finally, Deepak will get mother love." Saying that Harsha also slept.
