Chapter 21

After having dinner. Ragini and Deepak went to Deepak's room. Ragini tucked Deepak in the bed and sat next to him and he kept talking and she patiently listened to all of his pranks.

Arjun and Harsha sat opposite each other in Harsha's study room.

"So you are saying just like Ragini is Deepak's cure, Deepak is Ragini's cure?" Harsha raises his brow at him.

"Yes dude, I saw it happening in front of my eyes," Arjun said everything that happened in front of his eyes after coming home.

"All we can do is wait until she opens up herself." Arjun nodded his head understanding. After talking for a while Arjun left to his room. Harsha went to his room and saw that Ragini is not there in the room. He went into the washroom.

Ragini stood in front of the room and peeked into the room and finds it empty. Releasing the breath she held for so long she entered the room. She went inside the wardrobe took her night suit and entered the washroom. She washed her face and looked at herself only to find Harsha staring at her.

Harsha kept staring at her ever since she entered the washroom.

"Ahaaa" Harsha came out of his dreamland and covered her mouth before anyone could hear.

"Why are you shouting?" Harsha asked her. Ragini looked at him narrowing her eyes.

"Why am I shouting? Are you serious? You didn't even lock the door and you should up out of nowhere and you are asking why am I shouting?" Ragini pushes his hand and showed at him. Harsha was surprised to see this side of her and smiled.

"What are you smiling at? Get out now."Saying that she pushes him out and closed the door on his face.

"She has enough guts to push me out and close the door on my face." Harsha smiled looking at the door. He sat on the bed and leaned against the headboard of the bed.

"I need to ask her about what Arjun said," Harsha said to himself. Hearing the door noise he saw that she came out. Ragini came out and sat on the bed next to him.

"Arjun said what happened in the car while coming home. You want to talk about it?" Hearing him Ragini paused in her actions.

"Nothing happened Harsha. I just had a headache it's not a serious thought." Saying that she laying on the bed.

"When you were talking I was on the phone with Arjun," Harsha revealed.

"I said right, nothing happened. I am sleepy. Good night." Harsha didn't say much but he observed that Ragini s breathing heavily.

"If you say so, good night." He switched off the lights and laid down.

Later in the midnight, Harsha woke up because of weird noise. Switching on the light he saw tears running down her cheeks.

"No...no..." Ragini kept saying as she cries.

"Ragini...Ragini, wake up." Harsha tried to wake her up but everything goes vain. He ran to Deepak's room.

"Deepak...Deepak wakes up." Harsha tried to wake him up.

"No" Deepak looked at his dad and slept again.

"Deepak! What should I do? Deepak Ragini is crying." Hearing Deepak sat up straight and looked at him.

"What? Mumma is crying?" He wants to confirm again.

"Yes no come with me." He took Deepak in his arms and ran to his room.

"No..." Ragini is now breathing heavily. Deepak sat next to her when Harsha put him down.

"Mumma...Mumma." Hearing Deepak's voice Ragini calmed down and slowly opened her eyes.

"Deepak! What happened? Why are you here? Are you scared?" Ragini sat and asked him.

"No...are you ok?" Deepak asked.

"I am fine nothing happened, just a nightmare. You go sleep now, it's already late." Ragini makes Deepak go back to sleep. After dropping Deepak back in his room. He came back and saw her still awake.

"Not sleepy?" Harsha asked Ragini nodded her head.

"Want to talk?" She shook her head in no. They both laid back again. Ragini was unable to sleep and shifted while Harsha was getting disturbed.

"You know you are not the only one on this bed," Harsha said in an irritated voice.

"I am unable to sleep. I don't want to have the same dream again." Hearing her Harsha understood that she is scared to have the dream again.

"You know I can give you my hand to hold if you are scared," Harsah said spreading his hand towards her so she can sleep on that.

"No thanks." Ragini doesn't want to show him that she is scared. He didn't say anything and closed his eyes.

After a while, Ragini was still unable to sleep. She turned to him and looked at him to see whether he is asleep or not.

She slowly moved towards him and laid on his hand. Sleeping like that for a while she moved a little closer to him and hugged him by his waist and closed her eyes. Unknowingly she felt secure and comfortable in his arms. Harsha smile closes his eyes and hugs her.

"You are still awake?" Ragini said trying to get out of his arms. But he tightens his grip on her.

"It's not up to you after you come into my arms. It's up to me, now be quiet and sleep." Harsha hugged her tightly not letting her go. Slowly she drifted into a deep sleep, and so did Harsha.

Time skipped and it's been three months since Ragini and Harsha got married. Everything is going smoothly. Ragini and Harsha were more comfortable with each other. They are getting close to each other and playing pranks on each other.

Ragini was still calling Mrs. Janki Varma, the aunty. Arjun and Deepak started fighting for Ragini's attention and sometimes Harsha also joins them.

"Harsha wake up it's getting late," Ragini said trying to get out of his embrace. From that night she is only able to sleep in his arms.

"5 more mins Ragu," Harsha said tightening his grip on her. He started calling her Ragu over the past two months.

"You are saying that for the past 30 mins. Today you are hosting a party and I need to see all the arrangements. Get up, Harsha. " She again tried to push him off of her. Seeing that he is not going to let her go. She pinched his waist harshly.

"Ahaa" Harsha let go of her and started rubbing where she pinched. Ragini took this as an opportunity and ran into o washroom.

"Ragini comes out. You..." Harsha tried to open the door but it was locked.

"I know what will happen if I come out. And what I did is not wrong also. So brace yourself and go to Arjun's room to get ready." Hearing her Harsha huffed in anger and left to Arjun's room taking his clothes.
