Chapter 29

At Maheshwari's house, Kolkata

All the family members reached the house and sat in the main hall. Laksh was silent throughout the journey.

"I think you all saw Ragini's happiness. I hope you all will let her be happy now." Sanskar taunted looking at Swara.

"What do you mean Sanskar? Do you think I dont want her to be happy? I do but..." Sanskar interrupted her.

"But what? Looking at your behavior all will think that you dont want her to be happy. I understand that she gave us pain but she only gave what we gave to her. You always said that she is your sister then be happy for your sister. If it weren't for her madness toward Laksh you and I wouldn't be the way we are right now." Sanskar is breathing heavily. He turned toward Laksh who was silent.

"Laksh look at me. When she loved you, you ignored her but before you started to love her you gave her so much pain that her heart closed before your love reached her heart." Sanskar's words made Laksh remember what had happened.

"Bhai...I...I lost her Bhai. I lost her..." Laksh started crying tears flowing down his cheeks. Sanskar hugged his brother who was crying like a baby in his arms.

"It's ok Laksh. It's ok. She gave us love, she gave you love that neither you nor we returned her. We gave her so much pain and she returned it to us. We need to let her go Laksh, you need to let her go." Laksh nodded his head.

"Sanskar..."Swara wanted to speak. But he gave her a stern look.

"Uttara take Laksh to his room and stay with him." She did as she was told.

"For that god's sake, Swara can't you leave my brother and Ragini alone?" Sanskar shouted as soon as she was shocked. Why? Because she doesn't want to be separated from her sister.

"I...I..."Swara couldn't answer.

"From now on no one, I mean no one will interrupt Ragini's life. And nobody will take her name in this house. And you better behave from now on." Sanskar's words made sense to the elders. All agreed to it.

At Rajvansh's house, Mumbai

Time passed Ragin completed her studies. Arjun started going to the company eventually. Deepak was now going to school like a normal child.

"Ma'am it conforms you are pregnant. The fetus is in its 6th week." Ragin's happiness has no boundaries. Harsha recently asked her for a baby girl and now she is pregnant. Without waiting any longer she went home.

"Mom! Mom!" Ragini shouted as she entered. Mrs. Rajvansh and Mrs. Varma sat in the main hall they were shocked to see her rushing.

"What happened?" Mrs. Rajvansh asked as they bit stood up.

"I...I am...no you...you both will be grandma's again." Ragini blushed hard. Hearing her words both elders started behaving like children.

"Ahhhh we are going got be grandma's again." Mrs. Rajvansh shouted as she jumped along with Mrs. Varma.

"Did you tell this news to Harsha?" Ragini shook her head.

"Then let's wait till he knows." Mrs. Varma said.

"We need to keep your pregnancy secret till 3 months." Mrs. Varma and Mrs. Rajvansh started discussing what to do further.

Later in the evening when Harsah returned to the house and saw his family members behaving differently. He didn't find Ragini there so directly went to his room. When he opened the door he saw Ragini laying on the bed he directly went near her.

"Ragini are you ok?" He rushed to her and checked her temperature. Ragini looked at Harsha and smiled at him but looked at him with an upset face.

"I am fine. It's just that someone is trying to give me trouble." She lowered her head.

"Who the hell dares to mess with my women? Tell me who is that?" Harsha asked with a very serious face. He is getting angry now.

"It's all because of you. I am being bullied now." She pouted at him.

"Me? What did I do?" He was shocked to hear her.

"You only didn't let me sleep at night and now your baby is in my stomach giving me trouble." She was trying hard to control herself from smiling.

"But how come I am responsible for this..." Harsha realized what Ragini just said now and looked at her to get the confirmation. Ragini smiled at him and nodded at him.

"You are pregnant? I am going to be a father?" Ragini nodded again giving him a huge smile.

"Yes, we are pregnant and you are going to be a father soon," Ragini said. Harsha jumped in his place and his happiness have no boundaries.

Soon all the family members celebrated the good news. Arjun is happy for his sister and Deepak is happy that he is getting a sister whom he can play with and protect.

After 8 months Ragini gave birth to a baby girl who was looking just like Ragini and her eyes are like Harsha's. Harsha didn't leave their side until the doctor discharged them. Arjun and the other family members decorated a nursery for the baby. And the scene closes with smiles on their faces.
