Being in love again

Chapter 5

"Ho...How do you know that?" Ragini again stuttered. Harsha gestures for her to sit. She thought it was good to sit better than any thoughts.

"You see I want to marry you with your acceptance. And this marriage is not an unwanted marriage. Moreover, in our family, we never think of divorce." Harsha said looking at Ragini's nervousness.

"Please we need you. Deepak needs you. You are a wanted person in this marriage. Do think about it." Harsha said standing up to take his leave. While Ragini was left behind in dilemma. She understood that Deepak needs her after hearing about Harsha and Arjun.

"What will happen after Deepak gets normal?" Hearing Ragini's question he stops near the door and turns around. Ragini also turns around to face him.

"What if we will not be happy? What if the marriage will not be succeeded? What if it will be the first Divorce in your family?" Ragini asks looking into his eyes.

Harsha doesn't know why but he felt that his heart is paining. He could see the pain in her eyes. Those innocent eyes which were empty are now filled with pain.

"I promise you that I will always keep you happy. I promise you that I will give my best to make this marriage successful and as I said there won't be any Divorce in this marriage. And as for Deepak becoming normal then also we will be in this marriage." Harsha replied coming near Ragini and standing in front of her.

"And over that, I also promise you that we will consume our marriage when we feel something for each other. You can trust me, in that case, I never break my promises." Harsha said looking into her eyes. Ragini could see an emotion that she never saw for her in anyone's eyes and it was not pity.

"I... I need some time to think." Ragini said looking away from him.

"You can take as much time as you want but I want an answer by tomorrow. It's not an order or any threat it's a request." Harsha said with a smile and left from there to his house.

Ragini went to her hotel and fresh up. She remembers how her interaction with Deepak was. She doesn't know how this marriage will end. But she understood that Deepak needs her the most right now. In the past nobody wanted her but now she became someone's need. She became important to someone.

The thing about Deepak was a small smile formed on her lips. She closed her eyes and Deepak's happy face came into her mind.

"I think I got my answer now," Ragini said with a small smile with wet eyes. With that, she slept happily with a smile on her face.

Here Harsha was laying on his bed thinking about Ragini and the conversation in the cafe.

"What are you Ragini? I don't know what is true and what is not. But I think I know that you will love Deepak full-heartedly." Harsha sighed and closes his eyes.

The next day full he was absent-minded thinking about Ragini's answer. He hurried to her workplace. When Ragini reaches the cafe Harsha was already there waiting for her. Seeing her coming Harsha stands up and adjusts his suit.

But seeing him like that Ragini sighs and goes to change into her uniform. She goes near him after changing into her uniform and stands in front of him

"So? What is your answer?" Harsha asked seeing her.

"Deepak calls you Dad right? Make him call me Mom then I will say Yes." Ragini says that she leaves there with a small smile on her face.

Harsha was hell shocked seeing her leaving like that. Coming back to reality he remembers what she said.

"Is she serious? Like really? Deepak see what are you making me do?" Harsha nods his head and leaves for the house.

In Harsha's Room

All were having dinner. Harsha was busy thinking of Ragini's words.

"Harsha dear, What are you thinking?" Janki asked him.

"Nothing aunty. It's just that Deepka asked me for a mom." Hearing that Deepak and Arjun cough and looks at Harsha with open mouth.

"What? He asks for mom?" Mr. Vishnu Rajvansh asks him to confirm his doubt.

"It's unbelievable." Mr. Raghu said shaking his head.

"So should I start searching for his mom?" Mrs. Ravi asks excitedly.

"No, he already chooses his mom. But had a condition." Harsha said looking at Deepak with a raised brow. Deepak looked at his father with an angry pout and looked at everyone to find them staring at him.

"So? Who is she? When can I meet her?" Mrs. Janki asks narrowing her eyes at Deepak and Arjun.

"What do you mean by meeting her? She kept a condition to as YES." Harsha said looking at Deepak who was having a question mark face.

"What condition?" Mr. Raghu asked Harsha. Harsha looks at Deepak and looks at everyone who was looking at him with a question mark ace just like Deepak. Harsha smile and wipes his mouth with the napkin.

"She said Deepak needs to call her Mom, then only she will marry me and become his real mother." Harsha completed what he wants to say and stands up. All were shocked to see the condition.

"Impossible." Arjun laughs listening to this and the rest of the family nodded their head. Whereas Deepak is in dilemma.

"Don't think too much. She can be your mother if you call her mom and you have an option not to call her mom but she will not be my wife or your mother, all she can be is your friend." Harsha said before leaving for his study to do his work.

"I already started liking her." Mrs. Janki and Mrs. Ravi say together and laughs looking at each other. Seeing their mad wives Mr. Raghu and Mr. Vishnu shake their heads with a smile.

Deepak don knows what to do and leaves for his room. Arjun also follows him to his.

"Deepak it is you who asked your dad for Ragini and he tried his best to do that. Now it's your turn to do your work if you want Ragini in your life as your mother." Arjun says going near a pouting Deepak and sitting beside him.

["I never spoke till now. How will I call her mom? What if she gets to know about my incident and why I wasn't talking?"]  Deepak shows his tab with a sad pout. Arjun smiles and ruffles his hair.

"She knows what happened to you, Deepak. I think she wants you to talk." Arjun said and Deepak looks at him in shock Arjun nods his head.

"All you need to do is just made up your mind and start talking. That is all we can tell you. If you want her to be your mom then you need to call her. If you accept her wholeheartedly then you will never hesitate to call her." Arjun said what he need to say and leaves for his room.

Deepak knows that he accepted Ragini as his mother wholeheartedly just like he accepted Harsha as his dad. He stands on his bed and nods determined and goes to sleep deciding to call Ragini's Mom tomorrow.
