Attack on Titan: The Feral Titan

Chapter Fourteen: Aftermath

Asura latched one of his lines in a Titan's shoulder and sped towards it, slicing it's nape off and killing it. The Titan's blood splattered on him, but after a few seconds rapidly evaporated.

After Eren sealed the breach with the boulder, humanity had won their first real victory against the Titans, but it came at a cost.

Asura knew that their sacrifice wasn't for nothing, but now the remaining soldiers had to clean up the remaining Titans. Dangerous in its own right, but if Trost was to truly be reclaimed, the remaining Titans had to die.

Asura sped off to find more Titans to kill, and managed to run into an Abnormal.

He dodged its swipes at him, and looked at his blades.

The main edge of his blades were blunt and useless, but there was still an edge in the parts nearest the tips.

Spinning to his side, he swung forward with his blades, and released the blades which sent them flying forwards, cutting through the Abnormal's nape.

Asura got a fresh set of blades while the first set were still in the air without missing a beat, and sped off to find more targets.

He looked at Eren's Titan, now a skeleton and saw a couple of figures standing on a dead Titan. The symbol on their cloaks was one he recognized.

The Wings of Freedom. The symbol of the Survey Corps.

(The Scouts are back.) He thought. (Well, better late than never.)

Asura kept moving along the Wall and managed to kill a few more Titans before he ran into Eld, Gunther, Petra, and Oruo. The Levi Squad.

All faces he didn't know, but there was one person he did.

Survey Corps Captain Levi Ackermann, humanity's strongest soldier.

Asura stopped for a moment to check his gas tanks. His tanks were half empty, still plenty if he managed it effectively. He didn't want to use his Titan unless he absolutely had to.

His blades were another matter. He was down to his last pair.

(Shit.) He thought.

He didn't have time to dwell on it though, when a 5 meter Titan tried to grab him.

Asura heard it coming though, and dodged the thing, before launching forward and slicing its nape off.

"Sneaky little bastard." He said to himself. "I almost didn't hear you coming."

Asura sped off towards Levi Squad who were engaged with multiple Titans at once. No matter how good a squad is, numbers can and will overwhelm eventually.

So Asura picked up his pace and hooked a Titan by its nape, speeding towards it.

He started spinning around and slashed at the Titan's nape taking it off.

The thud of a Titan's body alerted the Levi Squad to their new backup. And not a moment too soon.

"Levi!" Asura yelled.

Levi turned around and saw Asura, looking a bit surprised to see him, but he hid it pretty well.

"Asura." He replied.

"I'm here to help!" Asura stated.

Levi nodded in understanding, and the group started to deal with the Titans surrounding them.

"This is the last group!" Asura reported. "We deal with these ones, we secure Trost!"

"Understood." Levi replied. "Time to go to work."
