-Trost District, a few minutes after the Colossal Titan appeared.-

Every single Cadet was freaking out about the Titans entering Trost. According to Kitz, the Advance Squad was completely wiped out in a matter of seconds.

Daz was in the process of emptying his stomach as terror set in. Though Jean practically lost his shit when Eren showed up.

Jean's whining soon started to annoy Asura, still injured from his initial foray against the Titans.

"You're scared, Jean. I get it, we're all scared." He said, standing up. "But here's the reality of our situation. The Wall's been breached, the Titans have entered Trost, AND THERE ISN'T A GODDAMN THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT THAT!"

Asura pinned Jean to a pillar as he vented his pain induced anger on his fellow Cadet.

"So, either you do some FUCKING SOUL SEARCHING, or you locate the shattered remains of your testicles." He growled. "However, it's our duty as Soldiers to make sure the civilians are evacuated."

Asura sighed as he calmed down. "We'll make it through this, Jean. Then you'll ship off to the interior tomorrow." He added. "But right now, as soldiers of the 104th, we need to do our duty!"

Jean cursed and went to his squad.

Mikasa walked up to Asura as he winced in pain and leaned against a pillar.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

Asura let out a dry chuckle. "Honestly? No, I'm not." He answered. "At least ten of my ribs are shattered, with the rest either cracked at best, or dislocated at worst. Hate to say it, but I won't be of any help on the field."

Mikasa just nodded. "Are you going with the civilians?" She asked.

"No." Asura replied. "I'll help with the escort detail. I can at least help out with that."

-Trost, two hours after the evacuation started.-

Two soldiers stared in shock at what were once Abnormal Titans.

The skeletons that were quickly evaporating showed signs of combat with...something. Deep clawmarks were raked across the face of one of the skeletons, while the others spine was clearly broken in several places.

"What happened to these things?" One of the soldiers asked.

"I don't know." The other replied. "This has to be it. That monster that stalked around Maria."

"If you're referring to the Demon of the Walls..." the first soldier said.

-Elsewhere.-

The surviving Cadets were facing a dilemma at the moment. They were running low on gas, and blades, and the Titans were getting closer to the Garrison HQ, trying to find a way in.

With their supply lines cut, the 104th had no means to replenish their blades and gas, and many had already been devoured by Titans as a result.

Thomas Wagner, Mina Carolina, Daz, and Eren Jaeger, managed to get themselves eaten.

Armin blamed himself for Eren's death, and even though she deserved to know, he couldn't bring himself to tell Mikasa.

No one knew Asura's fate though. Jean forbade himself from holding onto the hope that he was still alive. After all, he was badly injured during the initial Titan attack.

Mikasa landed and saw how sorry everyone looked. "Annie." She said. "You survived."

"Yeah." Annie replied.
