~Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahi~

Haseena was sitting at Pushpa Ji's desk and discussing something with her thana staff when Karishma Singh entered.

"Jai Hind! Madam Sir," She announced loudly to get their attention.

All the staff members looked at her shockingly except Haseena.

Haseena Mallik responded calmly, "Jai Hind!"

Santosh came close to Karishma Singh and inquired about her in one breath, "Madam! What took you so long? Aur ye ape ke hont ko kya Hua, aur ye aap ka hath, is ko kya Hua...bandage kyu Banda Hua hai?"

"You look pretty beat up," Pushpa Ji added.

Cheetah just nodded, agreeing with the other two.

Haseena seems disinterested in the situation(She was leaning forward on the desk, pretending to work but all of her attention was on Karishma's response).

"Woh Kya Hua naa," while scratching her head, Karishma tried to come up with an appropriate response, "Woh Hum naaha rahe naa, to ek dum se chipkali aa gaya humare samne aur Hum phisl gaye," Karishma said as she peeked at Haseena.

Haseena was making an effort to suppress her smile which didn't go unnoticed by Karishma.

"Pakka Yahi Hua tha naa Madam. Kahin aapko kisi ne peta to nahi?" Santosh said teasingly.

"Amma...Kis ka Himmat ha Karishma Singh ko hath lagne ka?" Karishma said proudly as she looked at Haseena with a corner of her eyes, "Bus Ek Insaan Ke Ilawa."

"Kaun, Kaun," all the staff members leaped towards Karishma to get an answer.

Before Karishma can answer, Haseena interfered, "Ho Gaya, aap sab ka? Tu ab aap sab Kaam par focus kar lain," she said after clearing her throat.

"Ji...Madam Sir," all of them responded in unison.

Before Haseena could start briefing everyone on the case, Santosh interrupted her. "Madam Sir! App ke hath se to khoon a raha hai aur pura bandage bhi laal ho gaya hai," she said in a worrying tone.

"Kuch Nahi hai, Bas thoodi si chot hai aur waise bhi yeh fresh blood Nahi hai, shayad kal raat hum ne pressure dal diya ho ga saute huye. Hum bandage change kar lain gaye, yahan se farig ho kar," Haseena said while looking at Karishma and then at Santosh.

"Hmmm..."Santosh didn't pester her more, she just nodded. However, Karishma was just looking at her worryingly.

"Abb sab kaa ho gaya ho, tou Kaam per focus kar lain?" Haseena asked in a curt manner.

Late Afternoon

Haseena called Karishma in her cabin; She waved an envelope in front of Karishma, "Kya hai ye?" She inquired with a raised eyebrow.

"Aapne hamare desk kaa talashi liya?" Karishma asked in disbelief.

"Hum ne nahi.....Pushpa Ji ne," Haseena clarified.

Pushpa Ji got alerted after listening to her name. She and others were just right outside the cabin, to get some tea (Masala/Gossip).

"Humara transfer letter hai," Karishma responded plainly.

"Transfer kyu karna chah rahi hain aap," before Haseena could ask, Pushpa Ji jumped in. (With her, all others nodded and entered Haseena's cabin). Haseena Sighed! While moving her head sideways.

Haseena cleared her throat to get their attention and asked, "Bataye Karishma Singh, Kyu transfer karvana cha rahi hai hain?"

"Karvana Cha rahe the....ab nahi karvana," Karishma responded as her voice softened up.
