Karishma entered her apartment around 4:00 am in morning. She was relieved that she has off tomorrow as it was Sunday but she didn't know about Haseena's schedule. She tried asking Pushpa Ji but she went in circles without giving her a satisfactory answer. So, to avoid Haseena tomorrow, she planned to sleep throughout the day.

She hasn't been speaking to Haseena for the last ten days and this is killing her from inside. Haseena has made multiple attempts to speak with her but one way or another, she ends up dogging them. She has seen Haseena's angry gaze on her twenty-four seven while working with her but she knows; she can't be alone with her. It will be a mistake, that's what she thinks. She knows as soon as Haseena will get a chance to speak with her, then, there is no running away and she is dreading that day.

Karishma moved to her room without making any noise and after changing into shorts and tee, she came into the kitchen. She was bent over the fridge, looking for some food, and she was not disappointed. Even though they didn't get a chance to speak with each other in the past few days, Haseena has never forgotten to make a dinner plate for her, every night. She placed the plate in the microwave to heat up its contents and started pacing there to avoid the ringing of the alert bell. "I can't afford to wake her up, otherwise, it's going to be a really difficult night for me to survive," she thought. Once her food was ready, she took the glass of water and moved toward the table.

After placing everything on the dinner table, she starts relishing the food made by Haseena while scrolling down from her phone. She was just halfway through her dinner when she heard the cracking sound of the door opening and then closing. She sighed and without looking back, she knew who this was...The last morsel she just took became difficult for her to swallow. While ignoring Haseena's arrival, she pretended to be watching her phone and didn't dare to make any eye contact with Haseena.

As Haseena moved past her, she saw Karishma's hand stop, her body stiffened up, and her grip on the phone tightened up. Without saying much to her, she just walked past her and sat opposite to her on the couch where she could have a clear view of Karishma's face. She crossed one leg over another, rested her back comfortably against the cushion, and without uttering any word, she continued to stare at her face. There was pin-drop silence in the room except the continuous ticking of the clock.

"I am so doomed," Karishma murmured under her breath. That's the face-off she didn't want.

"Ohhh! Yes, You really are," Haseena said in an audible voice, causing Karishma to have shortness of breath.

"Look at me!" Haseena asked demandingly.

"No, I am not looking at you—-if I look at you, all the hell will break loose," she said while focusing on her food as there is nothing more important than that.

"Look at me! You damn woman. If you don't look at me right at this moment. I'll make you look at me forcibly and you will not like that," Haseena said while gritting her teeth as she continued to sit on the sofa.

Karishma swallowed the morsel that she still had in her mouth from the time Haseena had come and after taking a deep breath, she looked at her. "Oh, man!" She ran her hand through her hair and her eyes were glued to the woman sitting right in front of her. No matter how hard she tried to look away from her, she couldn't. She felt her heart thumping against her chest—---she thought it would break all the barriers and would leap out any moment. Her breathing was erratic after looking at her like this, "Sexy Devil!" she mumbled under her breath.
