Karishma was running around in her apartment and was preparing for Haseena's baby shower. All the station members, Ammi, Priya, and Karishma's family was invited. On the other hand, Haseena was just sitting on the couch and was eating from the bowl of fruits that Karishma has just given her.

Please, Help me Haseena, with something at least, Karishma exclaimed.

I can't. Look at my feet, she showed her swollen feet and then this, she pointed towards her bulging belly, I can't help myself, so, how can I help you? Also, I didn't ask you to arrange this baby shower, you did, so deal with it, Haseena said as she resume the show on the tv while gobbling up fruits.

You have become a couch potato for the past month. You just watch these stupid shows all day long. I know you are on maternity leave but it doesn't mean, you can ignore me, Karishma said as she looked around the room and made sure if all the decor is done properly.

I am not ignoring you but I also don't want to stress about this function. It feels so weird already with this bulge. Also, I'll have my due date in a few weeks, let them get out of my body and then I'll have the whole time for you in this world, Okay? Haseena said as she looked at Karishma who was dialing the number of catering services.

Yeah! Karishma exclaimed as she sat beside Haseena on the couch, the arrival time for the guests is around 7:00 Pm, so, I got three hours in which I have to rest, dress up, and then help you dress up, Karishma said. 

Don't tell me anything, my brain is literally in a loading mode all the time, nowadays. The only thing, I think about is, eating and sleeping. I never knew it is going to be that difficult, Haseena said as she looked at Karishma. I really want to get over with this as soon as possible, she sighed. 

Didn't I tell you, not to go for IVF, Karishma said while tucking Haseena's hair which was falling on her face. 

Haseena looked at her with a smile and then she spoke, Don't think I am regretting my decision. I am very happy about it. But it's just the fatigue that's getting to me. So, I am just counting my days and I know it will be over soon, Haseena said as she focused on an interesting scene going on the TV in Handmaid's Tale.

Karishma didn't say anything, she just looked at Haseena's tiring face. The past few months have been a blessing in their life. They had fights, disagreements, and a crazy amount of sex. She couldn't think when was the last time she felt this much happiness in her life. When the doctor told them they are going to have twins both of them went ecstatic. Haseena has moved to Karishma's room and the other room was set up for their newborns as they were eagerly waiting for their arrival. She moved closer to Haseena and while stroking her hair, Karishma whispered in her ear, You have changed a lot in the past few months. 

I know, I have become fat and ugly, Haseena answered Karishma while continually looking at the TV screen.

No, You have become more beautiful. Every morning when I look at your sleeping figure, I felt like making love to you but I know, I have to wait. So, I shall wait for my time to shine when everything is over, Karishma said as she moved closer to Haseena's neck and started placing kisses.

Don't assault on my weakness when I can't give you anything in return. Move away from me, you derange and obsess human being, Haseena exclaimed with a slight chuckle.

You have made me like that and now you have to deal with it, throughout your life, Karishma said as she placed her head on Haseena's shoulder and held her hand within hers.
