Both of them came out of the cafe; the midnight breeze was touching their faces, enhancing their coffee experience and refreshing them to the core. Haseena moved towards her vehicle when she was stopped by Karishma.
"Kya hum walk kar sakte Hain? Bas pandra se beese minute ka to rasta hai," she said in a delightful tone.
"Lekin...Yeh...," Haseena pointed towards both of their vehicles.
"Hum ne cafe ke manager se baat kar li hai. Hum yah Park kar sakte hain, raat bhar ke liye. Subah yahi se pick kar le lain gaye," Karishma answered.
"Hmm," Haseena just nodded. Both of them were walking side by side without saying much to each other.
Haseena initiated the conversation, "Aap ka hath kesa hai, aab?"
"Bahut behtar hai, pehle se. Hand aur wrist ke zakham to bhar gaye hain lekin shoulder mein thoda sa movement issue hai bus," she said while looking around the empty street.
"Hmmm...Aap ki appointment hai parson na doc ke sath," she inquired.
"Ji," That's all Karishma uttered.
"Tu phir hum dono sath hi chale gaye. Theek hai naa," Haseena said while looking into Karishma's eyes this time.
"AnnHannn," Karishma muttered.
Silence prevailed once again between them. Karishma moved slightly closer to Haseena and their hands brushed against each other. Both of them looked at each other, passed a nervous smile, and then continued to stare at the road. As they were walking, their hands were continuously brushing against each other but none of them dared to pull them away.
"Ammi Kesi hai, aap ki?" Karishma asked after clearing her throat.
"Acchi Hai," Haseena answered plainly.
"Hmmm..," Karishma uttered.
This was Karishma's clue that she doesn't want to talk about her mother right now. So, they continued to walk in silence, listening to the quietness of the streets and the whooshing sound of air which was making them shiver. After a while, Karishma slightly gilded her pinky finger and entangled it with Haseena's pinky. Their pinkies remained intertwined with each other throughout the way and even when they reached home. They entered their apartment one after the other; their fingers were still in contact with each other, none of them wanted to let go.
As Karishma was about to move forward, Haseena let go of her finger but not before locking her hand with Karishma's and pulling her closer. Before Karishma can realize what is happening, she feels Haseena's lips grazing her lips sensually. She can feel the taste of a blueberry muffin and a cappuccino that Haseena had a while ago. She was about to respond to Haseena's kiss but felt her pulling away.
"A date should always end with a Kiss," Haseena said with a smirk while moving towards the living room.
Before Haseena can move forward, Karishma clasped her wrist and pinned her to the wall. Due to this unexpected action of Karishma, she closed her eyes, and when she opened them; she found herself standing against the wall entrapped between Karishma's arm and her piercing gaze.
"Sahi Kaha aapne, a date should always end with a Kiss but with a proper kiss," and without giving much chance to Haseena to speak further, she moved her hand at the back of Haseena's head to pull her closer and held her lips captive between hers. She was sucking Haseena's lower lip fervently.
Haseena's pupils were dilated as she was enjoying the havoc created by this kiss. She held the collar of Karishma's shirt and pulled her closer, both of them can feel each other's uneven breath but none of them are willing to let go. Karishma tilted her head to gain more access as she moved deeper into Haseena's mouth and savored the taste of the food which was still lingering there. It was becoming hard for Haseena to continue to stand so she made her hold tighter around Karishma's neck to avoid the fall. Both of them were so engrossed in the kiss that none of them have realized they have been kissing each other for the past ten minutes. They parted from each other to catch their breath and inhale a mouthful of oxygen.
