After a long day, Karisma entered her apartment. She looked around the living room. "It feels empty without her. It has been just a few days, she is living here but I have become so used to her presence in this house," she thought and instead of going into her room, she proceeds towards Haseena's room to collect the shirt which Haseena has just placed on the bed before leaving for thana.

She came out from the bathroom wearing the shirt that Haseena had worn a few hours back. She wrapped her arms around herself as if she was hugging her while she continued to peek inside the shirt to inhale Haseena's scent as much as she could. She stood beside her bed for a while and instead of lying there, she just came into Haseena's room to feel her lingering scent in this room. She tried to close her eyes but sleep was far, far away from her. Her mind drifted back to the time when she and Haseena had met for the very first time.

It's been a few days since Karishma has started college as a transfer student. She was trying to collect all the information possible that is required for her to graduate. She was in her college advisor's room who suggested, she should participate in some extracurricular activities which can benefit her in the long run. She asked him if he had any suggestions, and the advisor recommended that she can start with the Student Council.

"We are going to have elections for the new Student president in a few days. So, you can assist student council members, they can really use an extra hand," Mr. Sharam said thoughtfully (advisor).

She thought for a moment and then she just said, "Hum try Karke dekhte hain, Sir."

In her response, Mr. Sharama replied, "Toh Phir aaj hi student council challi jaiye aur un ke members se mil li jiye, Hum un ko bata dain gaye aap ke bare main."

"Theek hai Sir, Hum jate hain,"after saying that she just left the advisor's room.

She was walking in hallways, asking multiple people for directions, and climbing floor after floor. By the time she reached the fifth floor where the student council was located, she was exhausted. It was a deserted floor as compared to the others. There was no one around. Before she could take a step forward, she saw a male figure leaning on the female figure and kissing her vigorously. By the looks of it, it seems like they were very involved in a kiss. "The man feels familiar," Karishma thought. She was trying to recall the guy, "I had seen him somewhere but where?" She forced her memory but nothing came to her mind at the time. She looked at the couple once again, they were still kissing each other passionately. She was about to move from her place when the girl being kissed spotted her behind the pillar. She caught her peeking at them. Karishma felt the blood draining out of her body as she was caught red-handed in a robbery. She was not the culprit but why was she feeling like one? Before she could go back downstairs, the female voice stopped her. She was so engulfed in her thoughts that she didn't even realize when the couple broke the kiss and when the man left the floor. "Who are you?" The voice was sharp enough to get Karishma out of her trance.

"I....I....I was sent to help the student council for the elections," Karishma said nervously.

"Ohhh! So, you are the one sent by Mr. Sharma. Let me take you to the student council office," she replied enthusiastically.

Karishma just nodded and started moving with the girl. She was stealing glances at her, trying to find any traces of embarrassment, flushed face, or any other emotion but there was nothing, nothing at all. It's just like nothing happened. Karishma thought she might make a plea to her and ask her not to tell anyone what she has just seen but nothing came out from the girl's mouth. It feels like it doesn't matter to her.

The girl stopped in front of the student council room and once they entered the room; she introduced herself as Haseena Mallik, "I am a student council member. We have a few other members who will be coming soon," she said.
