Haseena's back was facing Karishma when Karishma opened her eyes. The first thing she saw, was the scratches all over her back. She traced her finger on the marks which were the evidence of their eventful night. After placing a kiss on Haseena's back, she came out from the bed and moved towards the bathroom. 

She was standing under the shower and reminiscing the blissful moments of last night when she got distracted by the sound of the bathroom door opening and then closing. She looked at the source and there she saw Haseena moving towards her. She turned towards the wall facing her back to Haseena.

What made you turn your face like that? I am, still the same person from last night. Haseeena said as she stood under the shower behind her.

It's not you, it's just, I don't know, How to explain this? Karishma's voice trembled as she tried to answer Haseena.

Is it my presence in the shower making you timorous? Haseena inquired as she took the loofah from Karishma's hand and after applying a body wash on it, she started rubbing on Karishma's back.

Yes, Karishma replied meekly.

Then, get used to it because from now on, you will be taking shower with me, Haseena said as she moved her hand towards Karishma's lower back.

Karishma didn't respond.

Are you the same person who was asking me to open my bathroom door because you want to take shower with me, the other day? Haseena asked as she turned Karishma towards herself.

Karishma didn't look up, her head was still hung low and her cheeks were turned into the brightest shade of red.

Let me tell you a secret, Haseena leaned forward. That day, the door was not locked. I left it open because I wanted you to barge in because it was your right just like I did. But you didn't come. After my refusal, you just went out.

At Haseena's this statement, Karishma's eyes widened. 

Also, from now on, I won't be closing any doors, you have my permission to come in, Haseena said while looking at her with a piercing gaze that was full of trust and love.

Karishma was trying to find any signs of humor but there was nothing except her ever-lasting serene smile.

Without saying a word, Haseena held Karishma's left hand and slid a simple platinum band in her ring finger.

Karishma looked at her face in surprise and then at her hand.

You proposed to me but you never put the ring around my finger, Haseena said as she opened her clenched palm in front of her.

Karishma picked up the ring from her palm and slid it into her finger while continuously gazing at her intently.

Why are you looking at me like that? Haseena inquired as she felt the heat radiate throughout her body due to her intense look. 

I don't know what I have done right that I have you in my life. You have so much patience to even disregard my biggest of blunders, Karishma said as she made her grip firm on Haseena's hand.
