"Okay are you ready to go?" Steve asked after I had collected myself. "Go where?" Bucky asked worriedly. Why would he care where I was going? He was the one who took me away in the first place. "Mystic Falls to my family." I replied not like it was any of his business. "I'm coming." He said in a stern tone. "No you're not. It's just me and Steve." I told him but it didn't look like he was going to change his mind. I really didn't want to be in a car for hours. But it wasn't like I had a choice. "Buck, why do you want to come?" Steve asked him, trying to figure out why. "I just do." he said as he got in the back of the car. Steve gave me an apologetic look as we got into the car.
-TIME PASS-
We haven't stopped yet but I was starting to get restless. "Steve, can we stop to get something to eat?" I asked him to break the silence that we sat in for an hour. "Of course. What would you like?" He asked me while looking at me while driving. "Um.... McDonald's?" I said. I hadn't had that since my road trip with my mom. God I miss those. "Ya of course. Buck, do you want some?" Steve asked. I had almost forgotten he was there. key word, Almost. He just nodded his head. I wasn't sure where we were though but Steve seemed to know. He pulled into the drive thru and drove through until we got to the speaker. " Hi, what can I get for you?" the girl on the speaker asked. "what would you like Y/N?" Steve asked while looking at me. "Can I get a 6 piece chicken nuggets, small fires, and a diet Pepsi?" "Ya of course." the girl said. "Anything else?" " buck, do you want anything?" Steve asked Bucky. Bucky just shook his head no and Steve ordered his which was long. I sat there in silence eating with the music up.

I was reading my book when I felt a tap on my back. "What?" I asked Bucky when he tapped on my back. "Isn't that the sign for mystic falls?" he asked. my headshot to the window in excitement when I saw the sign. I was home. It had been 8 years since I had been back and it was just like I remembered. I reached the house and knocked on the door.
