The Winter Soldiers Tribrid

Chapter 14

We were in surgery for a few hours but we successfully got the bullet out and stitched up the wound.  we brought him to a separate room and put him in a chair. We have to keep him in restraints incase he wakes up as the winter soldier again. "When should he wake up?" Tony asked. "He should be waking up an minute." I replied holding Buckys hand.  "Y/N you shouldn't be her e when he wakes considering everything he did to you as the winter soldier. if he wakes up like that it may trigger something like it did earlier." Steve said putting a hand on my shoulder. "No I'll be fine. I want to be here when he wakes up." 

"It's not a good idea. we can't have you going all wolfie." Tony said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "I'll be fine I can control it. He's waking up." I stated as Bucky started to move. "Y/N get back." Steve said holding me away from Bucky making me let go of his hand. I fought and fought in his arms but he wouldn't let me go. Bucky just stood at us. He noticed the cuts and bruises on Steve and the fear in my eyes. "What did I do?" he asked. He looked down to see the restraints and then up to me. He looked like he was in pain. Steve let me go and I ran up to Bucky and started to take off his restraints. "No leave them on." Bucky said quickly. "What why?" I let go of the restraints doing what he wanted. "Because I don't know what I'm capable of." The others took this as a sign to leave be for a few minutes. "I know you won't hurt me. So I'm gonna take off the restraints and hug you and your not going to say anything." I told him using a stern tone but smiling at the same time. 

He didn't put up a fight so I quickly took off the restraints and hugged him. He held me close not letting me go. I always felt so safe in his arms it was unbelievable, I haven't felt so safe with someone in years. Just then I heard the door open again so I let go of Bucky wanting to go back into his arms. I stood there beside him holding his hand. "Now what happened?" Bucky asked me with concern and worry in his voice. "You were shot while out on your mission but everyone got you back here in time for me to take the bullet out and stitch you back up to normal. Your vitals all look good and with your super soldier healing you should be able to be back on your leg in a little while. You just have to make sure it doesn't get infected." I  replied leaving out the winter soldier part. I didn't want to make him worry and doubt himself again. 

"That doesn't explain the restraints, Steves face, and Steve holding you back when I woke up. Did I do it?" He asked, sadness replacing the worry. He pulled his hand away but I pulled it back. "Yes you did but no one got badly hurt. Steve has a few bruises which will be gone in an hour, the restraints were just incase you were still him and attacked again but you didn't, and Steve holding me back was another precaution because they didn't want any of my memories triggered which could result in my going all "wolfie" according to tony." I said finally telling him but trying to make it sound not so bad.

"Are you sure no one not got hurt?" he asked but before I could respond Tony was already answering. "Yes Tin Man we're sure."   "You know I don't like that name."    "Ya but I don't care." tony said coming closer and closer. "Ok guys that enough. Buck you should stay in here and get some rest. Y/N can I talk to you in the hall?" Steve asked separating the two. "Ya of course. I'll be back in a little while after you've got some rest." I told Bucky as I left the room following everyone out into the hallway. Most people left but Wand, Natasha, Steve, and Tony stayed. "We think your abilities could be useful to the team. So if you would like we can start training figure out some of your abilities and teach you how to control your wolf side." Steve said breaking the silence. "Um.. ya sure but I was hoping that I could go to New Orleans for some time. I want to meet my family and learn stuff about my different.... sides." I replied hoping that me and Bucky would still be able too. "Ya of course."
