Chapter 6

He came back roughly ten minutes later with a few blankets and pillows. "Everyone is leaving except for Steve, Elena, and Jeremy. Steve is gonna sleep on the couch and you me in here if you're ok with that." Bucky said as he sat down on the bed. "Ya I'm ok with that but what's with the blankets and pillows?" I was confused as to why he brought them. "So I can sleep?" he replied laughing as he spread out a blanket on the ground. Then I clued in, he was planning on sleeping on the ground. "You can sleep in the bed, you know. Unless you would rather sleep on the ground." I stated as he stopped setting up his bed on the floor. "Are you sure? I know you're not a big fan of me and all." he said unsure on how to answer. I looked at him confused on why he would think I didn't like him. I mean I did assault him, choke him, and pushed him against a wall but I was still confused.

"I know that it wasn't you and that it was hydra and I feel safe with you." I told him motioning for him to come sleep on the bed with me. He slowly walked over to the other side of the bed and climbed in. I remembered that there was a TV in here and grabbed the remote. "Wanna watch a movie?" I asked, waving the remote in the air. "What did you have in mind?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "One of my favourites." I replied with a smile on my face while looking for the movie. I finally found it. "Close your eyes," I told him hoping he'd listen. "Why? What are you gonna do to me?" he asked while laughing. "Just do it." I replied, laughing and covering his eyes.

Before I could put on the movie he started tickling me trying to get the remote. I kept it away from him as long as possible as he constantly tickled me and wouldn't stop. We got into trying to fight each other off when we rolled off the bed. The laughter stopped and we were both groaning in pain. When I rolled off the bed I ended on top of Bucky. We both looked at each other the next thing I knew he was slowly leaning in until our lips were connected. That lasted only a few seconds until we heard a floorboard creak. We quickly got up and turned to the door. Steve was standing there watching with a smirk on his face. "Thanks for the show but just wanted to tell you that some of us are trying to sleep and the constant laughter isn't helping. Goodnight" he said, closing the door and leaving. We stayed quiet for a minute and then broke into laughter trying to be quiet.

We ended up composing ourselves and getting back into bed. I put on The Hunger Games and he whined at first but I could tell he was enjoying it.

-BUCKY'S POV-

I didn't understand the movie at first but Y/N enjoyed it so I watched it. I was actually starting to like it. Y/N he her head against my chest cuddled up close. We were about halfway through the movie when I looked down to find her asleep on me. She had the remote in her hand so I took it out slowly not wanting to wake her. She looked so peaceful and calm so I paused the movie and went to bed by myself.

I woke up to Y/N curled up in a corner of the room whispering to herself sweating like crazy and shaking. I quickly got up and went over to her. I knew what it was like to have a nightmare and it was horrible . "Y/N? Y/N can you hear me?" I asked as she continued to whisper to herself. When I touched her she jolted awake looking frantically around the room freaking out. She then saw me and wrapped her arms around me. I held her close until she calmed down. I looked at the alarm clock and it said it was 7:00 so I wasn't going to bother going back to bed. If she wanted to be perfectly okay I would just lay there and comfort her. She then got up out of my arms and sat on the bed. She sat like that for a minute and I sat with her. She looked scared and jumped when I touched her. "Hey it's ok I won't hurt you. you know that." I told her to try to calm her down. "I know sorry. I'm gonna go get a glass of water." She said as she got up. She lost balance though and started to fall so I picked her back up and brought her downstairs. Nobody was in there when we got there so we assumed they were still asleep. Steve was gone though but where to I wasn't sure.

Y/N made her way to the sink but I stopped her and made her sit down at the table while I got her water. she sat there twiddling with her fingers when I came back. She obviously didn't want to talk about the nightmare so I didn't mention it. "How about we go into today? You know, walk around town, you can show me around." I suggested breaking the silence. Her head shot up and she smiled. "Sure. That would be awesome. I also have some friends I want to see." she said. her smile grew more when mentioning her friends. We talked for a little bit longer and then I went to get our bags from the car so we could get dressed.

when I came back in she was already upstairs in the bedroom sitting on the bed. I gave her her bag and grabbed my clothes from mine and changed in the bathroom. When I came out I was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and a leather jacket. when I looked up she was wearing a blue dress and she looked gorgeous.

"You look gorgeous." I told her. "Thanks you look good too. Should we go?" she asked, smiling. "Yes we shall." I replied laughing and taking her hand leading her outside.
