Chapter 4

It took a minute but someone answered the door. Someone you recognized. "Miss me?" you asked with a devilish smile on your face. "Y/N? Aren't you dead?" Damon asked as he stared at you. "nope very much alive." he hugged you and held you close. You missed this. Damon and his brother were like big brothers to you. That's when Elena came around the corner "surprise!" you said enthusiastically. "Damon get away from her!" she yelled which you were confused as to why. "What why. It's me. Prove it. Klaus is in town we can't trust anyone." she stated. "Klaus is here?" you said scared as you backed up. You didn't realize it but you had walked right into Bucky. He held you close not letting you go. "Y/N prove its you" Damon said with hope in his eyes. So you did the one thing you could. Bucky let go and you go your eyes. Your eyes were a yellow color now. Elena ran up to you and held you close as your eyes went back to normal. "I missed you." she told you tears in her eyes. " I missed you too." I replied and looked up to see Damon staring past us so I turned around to see him. "Who's your friend love?" Klaus asked us in a taunting tone. Bucky ran up to me and pulled back I was too shocked too much but I knew I needed too. "Leave her alone Klaus." Damon Told him in a protective tone. I could feel Bucky's grip get tighter and tighter as Klaus came closer and closer. Once he was almost face to face with us Bucky pulled me behind me so he was in front of Klaus. Was he protective of me? "Leave her alone." Bucky said in tone that sent shivers down my spine. "I recognize her. Why?" Klaus asked confused but intrigued. "Because you abandoned me!" I told him with anger in my voice. "What do you mean?" he asked me as I came out from behind Bucky. "don't Y/n. Its not worth it." Bucky told me holding me back. "What did you say your name was?" Klaus asked slowly staring to clue in. Before I could respond someone came up from behind him. "Niklaus what's going -"all of a sudden he stopped himself when he saw me. "Y/N?" he asked, looking right at me. "Elijah, are you sure." Klaus asked while looking at the other man. " Yes brother. Me and Rebekah watched her for years until 8 years ago when she disappeared." the man said in his strong accent. Klaus looked at me and I finally understood it was my uncle Elijah. Klaus looked at me with sadness in his eyes. He walked even closer to the point where he was right in front of me. Bucky saw this and put his fist on Klaus's shoulder pushing him back.

"I wouldn't touch me if I were you. ''Klaus snapped at Bucky, flashing his hybrid eyes at him. "Too late I already did." Bucky snapped back. I stepped in between them "Enough. Bucky I'm fine. '' I told him, trying to reassure him . "Y/N you understand that We had to give you up right. It wasn't safe for you." Klaus said with sadness in his voice but I didn't trust him. Not in the slightness. Why should I trust a man who sent his only daughter away? "Really didn't seem like that. You didn't even try to contact me. And Elijah just said him and Rebekah watched me until I disappeared. Why didn't you all look for me? hmm? I was gone for 8 years. 8 years of my life are gone. you want to know what they did to me. They tortured me. treated me like I was their science experiment. They hit me, kicked me, cut me, and raped me multiple times. You all are the ORIGINAL vampires. You are the original hybrid yet you couldn't save your daughter from a few scientists." I yelled as tears ran down my face. I could tell I hurt him. So I ran.

I went back into the car and sat there. Not long after I heard the door open. I bolted up realizing it was Bucky. He noticed I had been crying and told me to come closer as he got in the car and I listened. I don't know why after everything he did to me, for some reason I felt.... safe with him. He met me tightly as I cried. After a few minutes he finally spoke. "Y/N I am so sorry. About everything that happened. they're gone now if you want to go inside." He told me in a very calming tone. "Thank you. for everything. I just want to stay here for a little while longer. Will you stay with me?" I asked him. He nodded and I started closing my eyes.

-BUCKY'S POV-

"Thank you. for everything. I just want to stay here for a little while longer. Will you stay with me?" She asked me and of course I nodded yes. She then went quiet and cuddled into me. Next thing I know I'm looking down to find her asleep in my arms. God she's beautiful. I don't know why or how she does this to me but I can't let her out of my sight, not after everything that happened. We stayed there for a bit and it was peaceful. I started getting heavier so I gave in and closed them.
