Those very same lips that said "I love you,"
Those lips that I could still feel igniting the fire within me,
They were still those very same lips that whispered the words that shattered my heart, body and soul
As if that weren't enough,
Those lips spoke of a song.
And when I listened, it shattered my world too
Those lips that spoke and sang the sweetest melodies,
Those lips that promised and made me believe
Those lips that I wanted so desperately
Those lips that kissed me passionately
Those very same lips that I craved every second of every day
Are now the lips I despise the most
Because those lips that promised to fight for me,
Also ended up saying, "I give up. I'm sorry, dani."
