I tried to talk to you
I understood that we were nothing but strangers
But I wanted more
And I thought you did too
Everything went right for two weeks
Then it all came crumbling down
How could you string me along like that?
We hadn't talked for weeks and you suddenly pop up
I was both nervous and happy
Only for you to crush me again
You only messaged me 'cause you needed something
And I was dumb enough for you
Could you not see I wanted your attention?
I told myself I wouldn't give up
But then again, we are nothing but strangers.
I got out of our playlist.
I'm giving up.
