You'd joke every time that you lie with every breath
And I'd laugh with you all the time,
but I don't remember what started the joke
But as I put the pieces together,
from stories of your past and all the time we spent together
I know now that our little joke was never even a joke
I only see you as a reflection
And not who you really are
I don't even know who that is
You do lie with every breath
But you don't even realize
Because it's the lie you tell yourself
And you believe it every time
Now tell me,
are you the puppet?
or the master?
