I say I'm okay even though I'm not
'Cause if I told you the truth,
you wouldn't even know what to do
You get mad when you realize I was never okay
That every word I assured you with was only a lie
But did you ever realize why I kept spewing lies?
Even though it burned my tongue every time?
I tried to tell you how I really felt
But you did nothing to help
You left me to drown
And I had to save myself
I did try to let someone else help
But just like you, they didn't know what to do
The only person you really have is you.
