I stare at the mirror and the first thing I see are my eyes
Brown like yours, as brown as the mud we played in onceDo you remember?
'cause I do.All those little moments,
days spent at the beach,
or the day we hiked up a hill
All the days we went on adventures,
I remember them all.And I remember my eyes,
I remember looking at you with such adoration
How could a girl like you be with a girl like me?I felt alive with you
Feelings I've never felt shook my core. But I remember your eyes.
While mine were red and sore from all the tears I had shed,
you only stared at me with a blank look in your eyes
I felt so little, so... invisible in your stareI begged for you to stay
Because the feelings I felt from you,
they had once made me happy
But it was shattering my soulI begged for you to fix me,
but you left instead.
