"We can't stay here for much longer boss, Silvio knows that you're near London now."

"So where to?" you ask your assistant, agitated that you're going to have to pack up your whole workshop again.

"My top pick would be, well..." Alex's voice trails off.

"New York," you say unenthusiastically.

"I know you don't want to go back, but it's where most of your requests come from. It would be great for business," Alex attempts to persuade you.

"Fine, but only if you tell me how the date went," you bargain with them.

Alex looks at you hesitantly before speaking, "He was nice and all, but he wouldn't stop talking about his mom. Seriously, he worked her into absolutely every conversation topic."

"Yikes," you grimace at the thought, "Well I'm sure there's plenty of eligible singles in New York."

From the look on their face, you can tell what they're about to ask you. "Well what about you boss, I haven't see you go on a date, like ever."

"That's because I don't, and no it's not because of past relationships, I just simply don't have the time and energy," you explain.

"Riiight," Alex replies, unconvinced by your justification, "Anyways, back to the topic of moving, the penthouse should be ready by the end of the week."

"You got the apartment before even me asking didn't you."

"Yep, now please look through the cases and pick one." You read the file Alex set on the counter, hating each and every one of the jobs listed.

"What's this?"

"Oh that's actually a good one, ever heard of Ethan Spencer?" Alex asks, excitement evident from their tone.

"No, should I know who that is?" you shrug, Alex facepalming.

"He was literally on last year's Forbes 30 under 30 list, billionaire, entrepreneur, and very easy on the eyes," they flip their phone around showing you a picture of him. He's hot, there's no denying it.

"What does the job actually entail."

"Oh right, it's actually a simple one, you would just have to pose as his date for a night while doubling as his bodyguard. He's gotten some death threats recently, most seem harmless, but one has been very persistent saying they're planning to kill him at this event," Alex summarises.

You silently ponder the job offer, before asking the all important question, "How much?"

"Considering how rich he is, a few million would be like pennies to him," Alex answers.

"I'll take it, and it's in New York, right?"

"Upper East Side."

You fling open the bedroom door, Loki nowhere in sight, "Shit."

You walk through the opened glass doors onto the balcony. Peering over the ledge, you spot him wandering aimlessly through the enormous garden, stopping at the dying flowers and reviving them using little spells here and there.

You whistle loudly, making his head whip up towards you. "Pack your bags, we're moving," you shout down, making him suddenly disappear and reappear next to you.

"Where?"

You were hoping he wouldn't ask that question.

"Amsterdam," you reply quickly, explaining it later would be much easier.
