Actually I intended to write one single chapter about all the events of the wedding day. However while writing the previous chapter I felt it would be too much for me to write and would be too much for you guys to read. So here we go 😊

Hania tried to avert her gaze from him but her eyes betrayed her.

In her heart she knew this marriage event and the new relation bounding her to Ayaan are insubstantial but she couldn't deny the admiration she has for him.

Especially the respect for him increased in her eyes when she realized even after knowing her secret he remained firm and that kindness remained unchanged.

She decided at that moment whatever their equation will be she will be sincere with him.

She gave him a sober smile while placing her hand onto his.

Instantly she could feel his warm fingers caressing her cold hand while his eyes gave her a reassuring look.

Ayaan was smitten by the moment he first laid his eyes on her. But today he was finding it hard to hide that nervousness which he felt when Hania was near him.

Even with all ACs around the hall he could feel sweat droplets forming on his forehead as Hania walked towards the stage

He blinked his eyes in disbelief as all this what was happening in front of him was no less than a dream.

Marrying the person you love , is it that easy ?

However the emotion in her eyes was making him restless. He could sense that there was something wrong but couldn't exactly figure out what it was.

He found her parents behavior also quite puzzling today. Neither her dad gave him the usual glares nor her mother politely smiled at him.

This preponement of rukhsati has to do something with their behaviors he thought.

He pushed aside all the thoughts and focused on enjoying the present moment.

With all the formalities they were made to sit beside each other.

Ayaan monitored his shoe movement carefully in order to avoid stepping on the dress of the lady who was sitting beside him.

Everyone had their eyes on them but Ayaan's eyes were set on her only. His regret for not being able to meet her on their nikkah day increased further.

He recalled how he had to bribe his cousin just to see one picture of Hania on the nikkah day. A sheepish smile appeared on his face as he was in the trance.

"Ayaan" a soft whisper came from the lady beside him which eventually broke his trance.

"hmmm" he managed to say as he was still in the awestruck mode.

"I know things are quite different from what we planned. It wouldn't be all easy for you." she said in a low voice which was more like a whisper.

" tbh yeah , it wasn't easy to convince mom and dad. Mom was slightly upset as she had some desires for our marriage ceremony which she couldn't fulfill."

Ayaan stopped midway when he noticed a slight frown appearing on her face replacing the neutral expression which was there from the time they were made to sat beside each other.

"But they are more happy that now you are officially going to be part of our family. I am also quite satisfied with the pace of things , they were bound to happen and it is good that this is sooner. " Ayaan tried to dispel her fears.

After a short pause he continued
" You know brides should think about good things. "

" Like what ?" Hania asked with amusement in her voice
