Arc 2 Chapter 1.2 ( Interstellar Beast World )

Two weeks later , Duan Xiaoli and Lai Xiurong should have been asking for Hu Jie's hand already . However , Zone did not request for Hu Jie in front of his parents and that plot disappeared .

Duan Li met Hu Jie at the past . When the cute Duan Li lost himself in the amusement park , a kind hearted kid brought him to the guard house and made a request to call Duan Li's parents who were still seeking for Duan Li .

It was Hu Jie who brought him to the Guard House . Duan Li never met a kid like him because he had always stayed at home being pampered by the Duan parents. 

Recieving a single goodness from a kid made it unforgettable for Duan Li . Zone somewhat disdained Duan Li for being foolish .

Sipping on a chocolate milk tea quietly a woman with a wavy hair suddenly blocked his path . Zone paused on sipping and moved his eyes to the woman's countenance .

The woman had a faint blush on her cheeks seemingly flustered by just standing in front of him . Although he is somewhat irritated he still flashed a gentlemanly smile . " How may i help this beautiful miss? "

The woman seemed surprised at first before blushing again . " I-i am Shiela , your ex girlfriend at high school . "

Hearing such familiar name , Zone went stiff as his eyes moderately widened . Violence flashed within his eyes before it quickly disappeared as if it never happened .

Coincidentally , Shiela was also the name of this Duan Li's ex . Such coincidence , it made Zone suspicious about the connection between him and Duan Li .

" Oh! You're Shiela , i almost didn't recognized you . You have become more beautiful ah? I'm somehow regretful 'bout the break up hmm. "

Shiela indeed looked slightly similar to Shiela aside from her hairstyle and eye color.  Base on the characteristics Zone have observed within a minute.  She must be a feline just like him . A cute leopard .

Finding his stare upon her body.  Shiela blushed quickly and stammered.  " Duan Li , i-i still like you until now . "

" I like you too "

Shiela's eyes widened as her heart beat quickly . " R-really? "

" Yeah , shall we date? "

" Sure! I mean... Yeah! "

Zone chuckled and patted her hair . " I missed the time we spent before.  I really regret that I did not treat you better than how your moonlight treated you. If i had successfully removed that man from your heart back then.  The break up would have never happened.  "

Zone's eyes seemed to have passed through her . And he was not talking to Shiela that was in front of him , but the same Shiela he dated before and the reason of his death . 

Shiela did not noticed this but teared up when age heard his statement . " I'm sorry , i regret it ,i regret Duan Li . "

" Shhh , it's ok . It was also my fault that i was unable to divert your attention from him to me.  I wish , we could start again and redo the happy things we had done before , is it ok Shiela ? " Zone hugged Shiela with an affectionate face while patting her back .

Yet the moment Shiela was unable to see his face , Zone's eyes flashed a hint of cruelty and disdain before it quickly changed back to remorse and regret. 

His lips went down and kissed her temple before hugging her again.  Shiela thought that she successfully seduced Duan Li and was so happy that she couldn't help imagining her life of riches.  While Zone was thinking of how to play with her feelings , playing an affectionate regretful boyfriend and dump her later on .
