My Past Lives' Regrets

Arc 2 Chapter 2.5 ( Intersellar Beast World )

In a distant planet , a petite girl could be seen holding a basket while climbing a tall tree to harvest some ripe fruits . She looked peaceful and bright and there's a cute small round tail twitching on her rear . It looked cute and adorable .

After the basket turned full she gazed at the blue sky and sighed . She is Lin Ming , a female mouse . Lin Ming has been living in this big planet all her life and never met any living beings like her , she somehow felt lonely .

After taking a small rest she then began climbing down carefully .

* Boom!!!

Lin Ming's fur stood up in shock and her eyes rounded cutely and immediately looked at the noise's direction .

A giant metal could be seen from afar emitting smokes , and it looked like it was about to explode . Lin Ming ran nimbly towards the giant metal and entered.  She saw some complicated technologies she couldn't recognize and walked carefully , fearing that someone would suddenly appear and kill her and eat her .

Ling Ming shuddered in fright and entered a certain room . She could hear hard coughs , Lin Ming immediately saw a handsome man vomiting blood , his head also had a terrifying wounds .

Lin Ming teared up and knelt on the ground . " Hey hey boy , a-are you dying? "

That man's eyes were hazy and blurry , he saw a small figure in front him shaking body making him more dizzy . He frowned and slap the figure's hands and stood up with difficultly to head to the safe . He opened it and swallowed some pills that could stop bleeding and dizzily cleaned up his own wounds .

Lin Ming watched the stranger man healing himself quietly . She thought that the man was pitiful , however he has a bit of temper .

Lin Ming said quietly " L-let me help you "

Hu Jie however didn't hear her , his head countinued buzzing like there's bees hovering over his ears and it makes him more irritated . When the woman wearing animal skin was about to approach him . Hu Jie growled as his eyes flashed in green . The threatening roar from his throat successfully stopped the stranger from approaching him .

Lin Ming shivered and stopped . That man with greenish silver hair suddenly growled like a tiger and it really frightened her .

Hu Jie clutched his head in pain . He probably got brain concussion , it is risky as injuries on brain could lead to Post-Traumatic Amnesia .

Hu Jie paused and sniffed , his eyes widened and hurriedly ran over the aircraft to hide all the necessary and important things on his spatial ring and hurriedly exited the aircraft .

Lin Ming was confused by the man's action but she still helped and also exited the aircraft .

When they were about a hundred meters away from the aircraft . It suddenly exploded and all the animals within the area started flying away , some cute squirrels and rabbits also nimbly run and buried their bodies underground , while the already larger animals was roasted alive .

Hu Jie watched as the aircraft exploded . His eyes turned cold and sat on the ground . The pain within his head became more painful , he groaned and thought that banging his head on a stone would relieve the pain .

But it is irrational and Hu Jie was not a fool . Hu Jie slowly roamed his eyes over the place and saw a small stream at the side . He stood up and knelt on the ground before washing the bloodstains on his face .

Lin Ming watched the man and pouted inwardly.  This is her first time meeting another creature that looked like her but then she was ignored , her heart hurt a little but then cheered up eventually .
