Arc 2 Chapter 2.4 ( Interstellar Beast World )

His heart started to beat in quick rythm as if he was on a race. Jiro's eyes are currently bright as he stared intensely on that slender figure.  A few seconds passed as Jiro could feel his throat tightening while his eyes turned watery , he hurriedly created an illusion around his face to cover up his emotion and wiped his eyes secretly. 

" Is he Zone's reincarnation? "

Doze flashed and appeared beside Jiro . He is fearless when making an appearance to the public since his master was the strongest warrior in the palace , moreover ... A boy who was capable of suddenly appearing through thin air was no rare occurrence in this era as everyone have different abilities here .

" He's Duan Li . The rebirthed main protagonist with a sociopathic mind . " Doze said and its selected boyish voice sounded to Jiro's voice .

" ... He's Zone's Reincarnation? "

" ... " Doze

Doze inwardly roared , i really can't answer you about that master . It will only be censored just like the other time .

Jiro understood that Doze couldn't answer him regarding his question but he is still hopeful . He just didn't expect that his target this time looked like Zone in the previous world .

As if he noticed the emperor's eyes . Duan Li moved his red iris to the direction of the throne and saw the sharp narrowed eyes of the emperor with his iris glowing gold in the shadow . Duan Li's left brow arc up in confusion thinking to himself wether he did something wrong that caught the eye of the behemoth .

Jiro's knuckles tightened , he could feel the familiar aura around this Duan Li . The way he layed himself on the chair , the red iris that speaks bloodbath , the upturned lips that looked gentle yet at the same time ominous , the contradictory within him speaks Zone's presence .

Duan Li nodded to the emperor and showed his glass . Jiro also nodded and followed him to drink a glass of wine.  Their tacit understanding created a harmonious atmosphere between them despite the distance. 

Doze watched their silent interaction and thought inwardly . Zone's identity isn't simple at all , At the first world , Zone transmigrated to the previous world and became its protagonist which was detected by it after Jiro transmigrated . That mission world was actually missionless yet his appearance made Doze's program to issue a hidden mission for Jiro to fulfill then took the shackle that sealed it . That way it gathered its fuel to run itself and bind with Jiro . Right now , its program notified it that Zone reincarnated unto Duan Li's body , but there's still a lot of loopholes that it couldn't understand . Wether Duan Li indeed got reborn , or Zone was Duan Li from the very beginning .

Because Doze had not detected any incompatibility between Duan Li's body and Zone's soul . There is no way that would happen , only realm agents could do that thing .

Only realm agents have the ability to possess any vessel they desired due to the uniqueness of their soul structure . However , Zone was never a realm agent and it made Doze suspicious of his identity .

Doze still couldn't fall unto a conclusion with limited information so he will set this aside from now and dwell on it after he gathered more information about his master's fated soulmate .

Moreover , the program within it that censored any important information tells it that maybe , Zone was related to its creator .

Zone put down his glass and noticed that Hu Jie was absent in this banquet hall . Then he suddenly remembered that Hu Jie was supposed to leave this planet to escape the engagement when he encountered an accident and lost his memories .
