After they defeated the millipede like sand monster , the hunter group fought more monsters after . The monsters in the dungeon were less than any other dungeon they had entered before but the environment in this dungeon is harsher and disadvantageous to them .
Zone just escorted them until they entered a pyramid. This kind of setting is usually where the boss monster resides . The moment the whole group entered the pyramid , most of them were already sweating in buckets. Janah who looked dehydrated paused her footsteps and tiredly turned to look at the marshal.
" It seems that we are no longer capable of defeating the boss monster , Marshal. " Said Janah
The injured guild members hung their heads down in disappointment and regret. " We probably couldn't exit alive here if not because of the Marshal's assistance. We're deeply grateful for your help , Marshal Thaniel. "
(Name pronunciation- Daniyel)
The cold looking marshal looked at them then said with his low voice . " After i cleared this round , go back and report to Niel . "
Janah and the Silver Wolf Guild members nodded and watched as the Marshal walked forward to open the gigantic door of the boss room.
Zone entered and paused for a moment to look at Uno at the side. Uno nodded tacitly and mouthed that he will stay to protect the guild members. Zone nodded perfunctorily and disappeared into the boss room .
The whole place turned eerily silent the moment Zone disappeared. They all gulped down and stared at the the door with enthusiastic eyes , they unfortunately couldn't witness how the great marshal would kill the boss monster easily.
Zone lifted up his head and met a pair of malevolent eyes peering down on his body as if watching a ridiculous ant trying to challenge a diety . Zone hated that kind of arrogant eyes and wanted to pull those eyes for his collection.
The monster in front of him was an A rank Sand Serpent . The monster not only exudes hot air around the area but it can also manipulate sand . It was approximately 10 meters long and when it lifted its head over , it's head almost reach the ceiling.
Zone retracted his claw and beared his fangs to the sand serpent. A low and powerful voice suddenly attacked the brain of the serpent. " How dare you look down on me! Lowly worm! "
Bang!
The head of the serpent seemed to have been affected as the monster started shrieking in rage. A sand tail suddenly lifted up and lunged down to crush Zone's small body.
Suddenly a phantom blue tail emerged behind Zone . The tail suddenly moved and parried the sand serpent's tail. The serpent paused and stared its pair of lizard like made of sand eyes unto the tail of the man. Somehow , the serpent felt great fear towards the tail .
When the serpent stared intensely at the man , a vague shadow of an ancient fox diety could be seen gradually making an outline in the air. The whole surroundings seemed to have paused as the serpent felt a constraining domineering supression grasping on its neck
The temperature dropped tremendously causing the sand serpent to cry out with an uncomfortable feeling .
The blue tail suddenly spinned and a shot of thorny water that blasted the body of the serpent . The serpent wriggles its gigantic body frantically trying to escape out of the room .
The marshal however was still not yet satisfied from toying with him.
" Let's play a little longer little serpent~"
The serpent looked dumbfoundedly at the man and thought to itself , which of my body is little? Are you fccin blind two legged man?
Zone smiled crazily and jumped towards the head of the serpent and clawed on its body leaving three slashes on the serpent's body. Before he could even land back to the ground , the serpent suddenly turned into sand particles .
