Always Happens To Me

chapter 12

MARIS POV

I am still very scared that James actually kept his threat I hope it can go to work without him causing a scene .

I also hope that if he does cause a scene I wont get fired or in trouble.

Oh well I need to sleep to get some rest and so that the stress doesnt get to me to back .

* 6 hours later *

It's morning and I need to head to work, today I dont feel to well so I change into black dress pants, a lime green blouse, and a pair of black flats .

I decide to just have yogurt for breakfast and then head out of my apartment to work . I open my door and step out, then lock it .

I see Gavin standing outside his door and he then says, " Hey Mari while James is acting all crazy I have decided to take you to work. "

"But wont you be late to work? "

"I told my boss that I have family problems and that I might be late for some time and he understood ."

"Oh that's great thank you for everything Gavin," then I go and give him a friendly hug. 

"Ok Mari lets go, I'm also going to be picking you up, understood. "

"Yes and thank you again. "
We go down to stairs together and head to the apartments parking lot .

"Ummm one question Gavin where's your car?"

He chuckles and then grabs my hand a leads me to a black BMW motorcycle. 

Wait this is his, I turn to him with a puzzled expression on my face .

"Yes Mari this is my motorcycle and to inform you I do have a motorcycle driving licence. "

It's like he read my mind, " Okay Gavin I trust you."

He gets on and signals me to get on behind him, then he turns on the motorcycle and asks, " Where do you work at Mari? "

I then tell him the directions to my job, and he then drives off and follows the directions I gave him .

I arrive at work right on time, " thank you Gavin see you later I'll wait for you on that curb," I point to a curb near the company I work at .

He nods and drives off, and now it's time to work, even if I love my job today I just dont feel like it .

* 8 hours later, after Mari's work has ended *

I head out to work for Gavin on the curb it told him, and he is nowhere to be seen, I feel like this has happened to me before .

I wait for him in the same spot trusting him to keep his promise but he never comes. I thought he would keep his promise. 

I decide to run home and I start to cry, I believed him, I believed that he'd keep his promise !!

I feel someone grab my hand and I look back it's James he put his hand on my mouth and I feel a cloth and a pungent smell filling my nostrils, then I black out .

GAVINS POV

I'm  stuck in traffic, god why does LA have to be filled with darn tourist.  I'm going to be late to pick up Mari .

I hope nothing happens while I'm gone.  I finally get to the spot Mari pointed at in the morning and she's not there .

I have a feeling something is wrong I  don't think she'd just leave, JAMES!!

It has to be him!! I speed up and start searching for Mari . I am devastated by the site I see! I see James carrying Mari unconscious into a white Chevrolet.

This is all my fault, I should have been there ob time! I speed up trying to catch up to James but he speeds up and goes through I red light, I cant stop myself from crossing through the red light to  and I feel a car impact the side of my motorcycle   and then I feel myself fly off the motorcycle. 

And I hear an ambulance sirens and voices  before I pass out into pure darkness.

Hey guys I'm so sorry for not updating in a month, but I've been so busy!

So I decided to make this chapter two times the size as the last chapter, hope you guys will enjoy it ! Stay tuned for the next chapter it's possible I will update tomorrow or someday this week
