Always Happens To Me

chapter 5

GAVINS POV

I hate that Mari always avoids me, like she did a couple of minutes ago.

I also hate the fact that after she shut her door and I went to my apartment I heard her laughing and then heard the name of a guy, Josh.

I'm pretty sure that I just hate the fact that she was laughing while talking to another guy. But they were probably just talking on the phone.

After a while her laughs end and I don't hear anymore noise coming from her apartment.

I guess she went to sleep. Meanwhile I can't sleep and I still have tomorrow and then the weekend so no teaching. YES !!!

I wish that I didn't have to wake up so early to work but I need to save some money so I can send it to my mom and sister in Seattle.

I miss them but I had to leave Seattle to come work here in L.A., and my mom needs the money for my sister's college tuition.

I then decide to turn on the tv in my room and watch whatevers on and Vampire Dairies is on great....,.. (A/N by the way I love Vampire Dairies )

I'm pretty sure I'm going to fall asleep and I'm right because twenty minutes later I fall asleep.

MARI'S POV

I wake up with a minor headache for some reason but I still have to go to work... I only get Sundays and Mondays off.  Which means that even if it's Friday tomorrow I still have to go to work.

I do my morning routine which consists of a shower, getting dressed, and breakfast.

I chose a green blouse, black pencil skirt and black heels. And for breakfast I just get a yogurt and granola bar.

Then head to work and for the first time in a long time I'm not running late. As I arrive to work I notice that there is more cars than usual in the parking lot.

Which probably means that there's a meeting or something like that. As I go up the elevator I start thinking about Gavin and why he came to check on me.

I was just asleep and he had to go and wake me up. I reach the fifth floor of the building, that's where my office is at.

I go into my office and start working on the manuscripts that were in my box and that's how my Friday began.....

I tried updating as soon as possible but I couldn't yet again I'm stuck babysitting my little cousins until around Christmas.
